Thanks pal! Well I'm taking the car out for a 'proper' drive this weekend as my friend is saying I should just leave them on as it's well worth it lol I think I am just over exaggerating the tire wear in my head is all! If I do decide to take them off you I will obviously paypal you some $$$...
I've driven a MK6 Fiesta ST countless times and even borrowed one for 3 months, the build quality is really nice and solid, the engine is also a really reliable lump if looked after. Very fun to drive and can come with some good toys if you find the right model, however vs the Clio 182 it just...
Re: Titanium Clio182
lol well I have seen them look quite good before on titanium's but I think you need some more darker items on the car to pull it off! Keep up the good work though
Re: Titanium Clio182
Getting better with each post! Do you intend on keeping the bullets black? Just my opinion but I feel like they don't belong on the car at the moment even with the black alloys. Looking good either way though
After driving home from Coventry to Blackpool at 70-75mpg I averaged 38mpg. Now doing some really short journeys around town I'm getting 28mpg. Need to get a push bike for these short trips lol
Ok will do, and reason why I didn't just do that is camber is very new to me so I wanted to double check I couldn't just take the wheel off and reset it myself without needing any special tools etc. Thanks for the input!
hmm I think it must be in this case as the MOT certificate has listed an advisory for uneven wear on the front 2 tyres, which Lawro told me was caused by the bolts
Hi all, just still getting to know my new 182 (Lawro's old one) and due to it being my daily drive and not really getting the advantages over uneven tire wear I want to remove the negative camber (1.5 degrees) that is currently applied using the Eibach camber bolts. Now unfortunately I don't...
This is perfect thanks Jack, so if after drying it's looking dull use some quick detailer on it. Will give it a go this weekend then! Next pay day I will be getting a few more detailing products as mine is all geared towards my old black car and other products are running very low now so will...
I'll take any advise on this topic pal haha, with my last car (panther black) I would wax after EVERY wash! Which is probably quite excessive, something which I really want to stop doing especially if I start using sealant too so need a good quick wash technique!
Well I am willing to spend as long as necessary on it in order to get it looking like it's just been fully washed and waxed! I have all the products I should need I think, just need to get some sealant as I hear this is better on silver cars than wax (but won't be using this until I notice the...
Hi all! As some of you may know I am now the VERY proud owner of Lawro's old 182, before he parted with it the car was very well detailed and finished in Swissvax best of show. The car could do with a wash now as it had some motorway miles on the trip home etc. My question is how would I go...
Very, very chuffed with the car! Still not had time to take her for a proper drive but I will this weekend! It's as immaculate as the pictures make out and then some and the seats are heaven! Couldn't show much enthusiasm on Sunday when I picked her up as was up for 24 hours the previous day...
Dodo Juice products are great, can wax in direct sunlight too and I have never had an issue. I used purple haze on my black Fiesta, not sure what their best wax is for silver though
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
Posting on behalf of a friend. Whats it worth guys?
Liquid Yellow 182 2005. Just ticked over 100k miles. Had the belts changed last year, along with a new stainless steel exhaust system. Car is overall quite tidy but a bit of TLC wouldn't go a miss! It has...
Also I've got to say, I have never bought a car that wasn't in a really tidy condition and cared for but the attention and pampering Lawro has given this car amazes me and puts all my other vehicles to shame! Hats off to you mate :hail: hope you enjoy WaxStock with her
Yea that's about right I think! I keep saying a silver 182 with a young female behind the wheel too. Also my boss at work has the LY 182 ending in KMW (soon to be sold)
Hi all, just to let you know I am the lucky soon to be owner of Lawro's 182:clap: :approve: I actually saw his pictures and said "god I wish that was up for sale" and then to my surprise it went up a few days later. I was looking at a few other examples including one in Glasgow with Trophy...
