I had it on my first car, it was "alternator induced radio whine" I fitted an aftermarket headunit and found a good solid ground in the boot and it vanished, check your earth I guess! Edit: It was actually the sub I grounded in the boot, but it still solved the issue

Doing a few more mods today including silvervision and led sidelights so will be taking some later on, I will make sure I get the LED rear for you

Well no I assumed this and was expecting some discrepancies but just can't understand such a drop in volume just by starting the car, it was -3 oC this morning so maybe it was the automatic choke, but just wondering if it happens to anyone else?
