Well unfortunately the knackered bonnet connection wasn't the fault. I came back to the car today after leaving it for 8 hours to find the LED flashing in 3 blinks. I've manually turned off the internal sensors tonight as apparently that blinking is an indication it's them.
I've read quite a...
I need to add some more people to play with to be honest. Every attempt at a game mode I played resulted in everyone leaving! Or just being solo heroes with no team work!
Finally got in last night! Seemed to be dominated by people driving around in fully bulletproofed cars lol. Think they need to sort this out tbh, especially with how easy the aiming is on PC, you don't stand a chance!
I haven't been able to play! I get all the way to the first mandatory driving mission and then I get a connection error... too many screens and loading time to be bothered about it atm. Will wait until they sort it (I'm not the only one apparently). Are you playing through Steam?
Mine plays a lot smoother after the patch, I've not dipped below 50fps now and I have my textures of high. For me, the GTA V Launcher was really slowing my game down, I checked task manager and it was taking 35% CPU in the background.
Thanks for that Steven, surprised I have never noticed it before. Just glad it isn't anything else, I'll keep my eye on it over the next 24hrs then. I was reading about the wiring on these interior sensors and saw the part about the 20/80% sensitivity. However from what I read I was expecting to...
Hi, last night my car alarm decided to start going off (3 times in total). I've checked the windows are up etc, the only thing I found during the night was my passenger side interior sensor had been turned so it was facing outside the car. I sorted that and presumed everything was ok until it...
Constantly haha! Keep doing it on stairs too! Backing off the story line now and just exploring the city a lot. Does anyone know which apartment I should buy? And for which character? Should I just choose the one I think I will play the most after I finish the story line?
Yea as above, certain games will 'push' the card more. Often they won't come close to the OC speeds so unless you've properly stress tested them then games like GTA V will do it for you lol. I've never had my cards get to 60 degrees either but GTA V is making my PC sound like a hair dryer.
Anything overclocked? Is it just freezing completely? Mine was crashing too but it was after someone told me to change CPU priority to high, didn't like it.
One way to get out of the crash without having to restart PC is alt-tab until you can see the cursor visible where the start menu should...
Managed to get myself up to $1.5m tonight from x2 stock market traders on the Lester assassination missions! Don't think money is too much of an issue in this edition of GTA!
You playing on highest Greeny? That's a nice constant FPS! Anyone else notice as soon as you approach a convertible their roof is in the process of being put away? Ruining my immersion lol
There is some sort of mouse acceleration as apparently someone has discovered it's bugged! It increases and decreases with framerate lol. Will probably be sorted on the first patch. *edit it's simply mouse sensitivity, but it will definitely result in 'off' input.
Link for anyone interested...
Little tip which actually improved my FPS by at least 5-10fps. Once the game has loaded, alt-tab out and load task manager (CTRL ALT DEL) and close the GTA V Launcher exe. You could also set the CPU priority or the GTA V process to high but this did cause crashes for me so maybe just leave that...
Yea my cards play BF4 with ease! I think in a few months I will drop both cards and pick up a single GPU to be honest! Very hit and miss, I thought the whole crossfire / sli solution had been fully resolved before I purchased lol. Don't think I'll be playing many other games for a long time now...
Yea can't wait to see what they'll do with this! I bet there will be some crazy servers established!
am I right in thinking the best way to spend my $500000 would be an apartment, some modded weapons and the armored car?
Don't expect much success though... apparently it's like this for everyone. Also an issue with mouse acceleration has been identified. The higher the framerate the lower the mouse acceleration, causing some strange inputs when driving at speed etc. Think there will be a few patches released over...
Yea the benchmarking is completely bugged. Does the same thing for me, in fact the second time I tried to run it the game crashed, mspaint opened up and then my PC bluescreened
Think you should see a pretty good performance with just the 1 card, it's alot better than my single 7850 and I can run it quite well on a single!
Stick your IGN down on the list pal

I was expecting much more performance when I picked up my second 7850 but I barely got an extra 5fps in Dying Light. From what I have read though I am seeing a good 10-20 fps on GTA V than a single 7850 so yea, looks like the optimised this game very well, especially the beta drivers!
Need to...
Wow x2 290 lol, 8gb video ram?! Not surprised you max it out lol. I'll add you tonight!
Maybe we could start a CS Social Club username list going?

How is everyone getting on performance wise?
I'm running x2 7850 (2gb each) 8gb ram, i5 2500k and Windows 7.
First play was on pretty much the highest settings apart from textures on normal. As soon as I got to the city I was getting drops down to around 20fps making it pretty unplayable but...
Thanks pal! We stayed at a campsite in Ullswater called "Park Foot" which is where I got the long exposure of the stream :) we visited a few places there too that were close by such as "Aira Force" loads of photo opportunities around, it's all post card material! Was very glad I got the camera...
Took my new DSLR to the lakes and got a few shots I was pretty happy with. The long exposure could have been better but I didn't have a tripod or ND filter lol

He used to post on here but doesn't anymore. Surprisingly he is called Ryan lol! I think he works at the main Blackpool Tesco as the car is usually in the staff car park
Yea I've been trying to keep the car off the road as the lower ball joint was getting dangerous lol, all sorted now though!
Managed to snap a few better pics tonight of the car, plus another from the interior that doesn't make that sticker look huge (although yea it is a bit too big for where...
Good news, all the front end issues I have been having were down to the front lower ball joint. New one fitted today and wow has it made a difference! No more popping, steering is now really light again and of course the car isn't tramlining and trying to kill me...
Spent all morning detailing...
