Thanks very much for the tips  making sure to stay well away from Auto mode lol, the difference from manually setting the ISO and not using flash is amazing isn't it!
Got my first DSLR  very happy with it! Been practicing in manual mode (RAW), here are a few shots I liked post processing.

We had a horrific Jet Ski accident in Blackpool some time back (I wasn't on the crew back then). Sadly the husband lost his life but the crew kept the wife going until she reached the shore and they get her to hospital. She still writes us yearly thanking us for saving her life...
Can't argue with that logic I guess! If he had bought the car through the eBay ad directly then he would automatically get the VPP (vehicle purchase protection) they offer. I bet he just went directly to seller though. I hope you get it sorted burns, not looking good though! What a crappy situation.
Jees, amazing to think of the mobility you have now with all the damage your back suffered! Glad all is well (for the most part!) now though buddy
Well even though it appears as though the buyer doesn't have many rights post sale, I still think this is fraudulent. According to OP the seller listed the car as "100% working" so for the car to have no reverse then this directly conflicts with point 2 in those bullet points:
not misrepresent...
Well I hope you get this sorted without having to spend your own money. I know you should have noticed this, you should have checked all gears etc etc but you didn't (these things happen), and the seller clearly knew about this fault and omitted it in the advert. To me that's fraud, good luck...
Brilliant work as always Lawro! I know my lower back can start to ache after doing the pots so this must be brutal for someone with actual issues! Did you damage your back or has it just got worse over time?
I have probably missed something here but why is everyone saying the seller is within his rights to not pay for this? If I advertised something on eBay as 100% working condition and it was actually faulty, I wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Surely this falls under trading standards regulations...
haha, my sister bought her first DSLR a few years back and has since developed an expensive addiction! It should arrive before next weekend so I'll be able to get some decent shots of the 182 up after it's detailing session :)
Is Flikr still the best site to use for sharing / storing a copy of...
Actually had that bookmarked but think I'll stick with the D3200! Found one with a lens for £250 delivered so going to order tomorrow I think :D can't wait now
Dying to get hold of one now! Was looking at some photos on Flikr taken with the stock lens, they look brilliant! I've told the missus it's for "us", but really it's for my car.
Actually when I say "us", I kinda mean me and the car.
Another thumbs up for the D3200 then! Me and the missus have quite a lot of ClubCard points for Tesco so hopefully when they do one of those "boost" events I can get one almost free! If not I'll give in and stick in on the credit card haha
Have you picked up any more lenses?
I think it's Megs Endurance Tyre gel. It works but it's no way near as good as a proper product such as C4 GTechniq Trim mainly due to how long it will hold up!
Lots of potential, as already said: new number plates and new RS style badge would make a huge difference. Then perhaps washer blanks? The alloys looks great but just a little lost in the arches, some spacers would really suit it, with some Cooksports ;)
Thanks for the replies! I have played with the D3200 and with my limited experience of camera it seemed really good! My sister has a Canon 450D which produces some brilliant photos and according to the specs the D3200 is a better camera.
Typhoon do you still shoot with the standard 18-55mm...
Hi, I have been wanting to get a 'proper camera' for some time now and keep finding myself going around in circles! I don't think I will need more than an entry level camera and I keep going back to the Nikon D3200. It can be picked up around £250 brand new with a lense (budget £250 max)
Do you...
Yea hopefully you'll crack it pal as you've put a lot of time and money into it! I've yet to sell a car / bike and move onto something else and it's been plain sailing, better the devil you know I guess!
Nothing worse when you spend more time sorting problems than enjoying your car! Caused me to get rid of my old R6 a few years back, hope you get it sorted mate! At least before we do this photoshoot lol
Just read the bit regarding the alloy wheel issues, isn't that center cap removable? Surely...
