The field across the road from my brothers house was being plowed (sp?) by the farmer and a rock got flicked up by the tractor and smacked the bonnet. I wasn't a happy person that day.

Believe me if I had the funds that I did have when I had the 225 and titanium ph1 before that this one would be boosted or throttle bodies in no time.

Yeah it's powerflex bushes that are fitted to the standard dogbone mount. Makes a gear changes a bit more slick & precise.

I agree mate. I'm loving playing about with it and I'm especially loving parts prices compared to megane parts prices.

So after regrettably selling my 225 Cup to Jacob aka the Russian I've made the step back to where my Renaultsport ownership started and I'm back in a ph1 172 in pearl black. I have to admit I'm absolutely loving being back in a 172 they're just a hoot to drive at any time. So here's a few pics...

Removed the vibratecnics engine mounts & fitted new oe mount and it feels so much better to drive. Also fitted a cabbasse headunit and ph2 rear clusters on my ph1 172.

Just received a standard oe 172 exhaust from Ads. I'm just wondering how the backbox connects to the centre section? Is there a fitting kit I need to buy too?

Probably the most unsupportive sports seats on the go. I've got those exact seats fitted in my 225 cup and I find the seats in my 172 more supportive.

They're still fitted to my 172. It's the upper gearbox mount & engine mount.

If you decide to go for solid engine mounts I've got a set for sale soon.

I'll have a set of vibratechnics mounts for sale in a week or so if your interested.

They'll work fine. I would have bought genuine discs though.
