They don't lower 45mm more like 30mm at the most.
Sportlines springs are totally fine on OE shocks. I've ran them on 2 172 for countless amounts of miles without a problem along with many others on this forum.
It's going good mate thoroughly enjoying owning another especially a Trophy.
I literally just got it back from the garage yesterday after getting a smf & r26r clutch fitted along with new drop links, anti twist links, steering arms & tre's so it's going great.
Sold the cup yet?
John you just bought yours at the wrong time when stuff was needing refreshed on it.
You just said yourself it's not given the current owner any grief since lol
Dropped the Trophy off a Rentec this morning to have a SMF & R26.r clutch fitted along with new drop links, anti twist links, track rods & ends and a new steering rack bush.
I'd love one but unfortunately finances dictate. I've been out in a 320 bhp 250 though and holy Santa clause s**t it could go some.
Personally I've never found the interior to be dull in them especially compared to the mk2.
I'll make do with this for now.
I need to get rid of this thing before I get the Williams on the road tbh.
The interior is a bit marmite but personally I love it especially the seats.
Do you reckon that valvers might be rarer than Williams now? I very rarely see any for sale now and when I do they don't hang around for...
I am Mick I've never seen the point in spending thousands doing up a car to just sell it on.
I've had it over 5 years already and in planning to keep it quite a few more years yet.
So it's been over a year since it's been sprayed and it's still not budged from the garage LOL.
Need to get my finger out and get it sorted for the road.
