Evening guys!
My old mans 65 on Monday so would like to get him a laptop ideally for £250.
It needs to have a disc drive also!
Anyone recommend anything at that price?
Thanks!
Agreed, for the £60 or so to have the timing checked/adjusted is absolutely critical!
Someone once said it can be as much as 20bhp down on an incorrectly timed engine.
I couldn't shake one in my Edition 30 and that was 300bhp, say what you want about the Fiesta/my driving oor Kev lol.
It had a Mountune badge, no idea what power it was running. But the driver was ginger and probably not old enough for penetration.
The Trophy is the one to go for if it has to be the 200 EDC, and they're still 16k+
The early Fiestas are now 7/8k and can take well in excess of 300bhp on standard internals. I know what i'd take.
It was a head on crash though lol.
Unless they had a dodgem day at the Ring, it's fairly explainable that it quite clearly never happened on the track.
Its the connecting wires undermeath the passenger seat, from memory its caused by the wires being stretched because the seats been slid back and forth more frequently than the driver side.
Someone with CLiP can turn them off or cut them and loop them together?
Phone citizens advice bureau first so you know what to say should the whole thing go lemon.
I'd give the garage an oppertunity to rectify it before playing the CAB card.
Not sure on the 250 conversion cost, a few quid anyway.
You're in luck then, get onto citizens advice bureau.
From you buying it you have 6 months from the point of purchase for the garage to either repair it or offer you a full refund. Explain this to him, although i'll bet you my birds starboard side tit he's already in full knowledge of this...
Did you buy it privately or from a trader?
Its not a common issue mate, cambelt failure due to the aux belt wrapping its self around the cambelt is about the only failure the F4R experiences (unless its been modified outwith tolerances etc)
It'll be ripe for a Megane 250 conversion now, i'd...
