A few more ideas are carbon fibre wing mirrors and to maybe change the splitter for a carbon one or maybe an oem one as i have the old one lying around.
Also new floor mats and possibly an rs grill.
Also need to desperatly find a better place for my number plate as its ruining the look of...
Right time for an update i think!
Well as mentioned above the car is now black due to getting stopped and the police being unhappy that it wasn't declared, any way i know i could have declared it but it was looking a little rough. Especially at the arches where it used to scrub, below the boot...
For me its usually the colour, lowness
a few pics been taking whilst driving which i cant complain about
also people asking if i have done the work my self.
The discussion on page 1,
I have recently removed my wrap due to a police incident. I never told my insurance about the wrap or told the dvla as i didn't know i had too due to being told that it was fine due to a non permanent colour change. I had been driving with the car wrapped for a year...
French yellow headlights and main beam. I have also been told that they were legal as well but yeah might do that and keep it in the car. Same with my insurance policy
That's exactly what i wad thinking llf. Have a colour in mind as well. Wont be doing it till after m.o.t. In January though...
Yeah bumpers wrapped mate. Got stopped by a total ****hole of a police officer that wasn't happy about the colour change not being declared although i have previously been told by other officers that i didn't need to as it wasn't a permanent colour change as the paint wasn't effected in any way...
Probably should mention the car now has a full false floor in the rear, No vinyl wrapped windows anymore and is now black again.
Due to having a really rubbish paying job i have decided to just keep the 1.2 for just now. Im happy with it and in my opinion yeah its not fast or that but i still...
Nightmare when you don't have the right tools! I know the feeling half the time i either have to go out and buy what i need or rely on mates if i could use theirs!
You never know though someone might end up selling one at some point.
Hahaa, Honestly mate give it a bash its easier than i thought it would be.
Spare bumper from scrappies, few tubs of filler, some fibre glass and resin and an electric sander. That's all i used and in 2 weeks it was finished!
Hahaa! I have no idea what's wrong with it to be honest.
I was away to set up my new sub and amp, got behind the Sony stereo (which has never been out). Noticed that the previous owner has mucked about with the wiring to get the Sony stereo to work, so instead of buying an adapter for like £3...
Cheers. Yeah windscreen sticker has been gone for a while now, same with that gay flowery thing hanging from my mirror.
Not really updated this in a while due to trying to fix a stereo wiring problem.
Flol! Honestly ill probably get some stick for this but i do it all the time. I cant stand it when i see people get out cars and just let their door batter off another car (iv had it happen to me a good few times) so now i deliberately make sure nobody can park close to me. Yeah it may annoy...
Not to sure if this is the right section but in turning my car into a show car and i have noticed a few people on here have half/show cages fitted just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction on where to get one.
cheers
Yeah it was the exact same link you posted. It didn't come with a brake light, i just had to re use the one i had. Also you need to make the holes in the replica spoiler for it to fit. Wasn't to hard i just usd a small drill bit. Basically what you get in the box is the spoiler(fibreglass...
