    I got 32122 miles on the genuine Renault rear discs before the bearings started to get noisy. 182 cup standard suspension original pe2 tyres road use, not a lot of miles compared to other cars of the same age, I consider the bearings under spec being the same size as the 1.2 clio.

    This a symptom of using non genuine (magneti marelli) injectors. The copies don't come with retaining clips.

    The 182 brake bias is controlled by the ABS module so it won't be that, compensator on the 172cup only.

    It just unclips from the inside buy pushing in the tabs with a flat screw driver easier to do with the bumper off.

    Not saying it will be a mot failure only that it will show up and one brake will be stronger than the other, the adjuster plate can only tilt to a certain degree.

    I would just buy the genuine ones and do it on the drive on my back but allow plenty of time for seized parts, being 11 years old.

    The 197 dephaser dosnt wear like the 1*2 does so you can leave that. The water pump on the 1*2 lasts around 10 years on the 197 it runs off the smooth side of the cam belt so worth replacing .

    If you only replace 1 you will create a brake imbalance that will show up on the brake rollers come mot time. The reason for this is the old cable will have stretched over time causing the new cable to apply the brake first.
