Megane 225 picked up yesterday, noise wasn't there when i picked it up. Seems to only do it when the engine is hot. Cambelt was done 3 years ago only 8k miles ago along with the waterpump. No idea what it is. Took it to a few local garages today and they said it sounds like the alternator belt...

ME personally wouldn't want to buy a high milage car.... but if its got a good history and everything seems ok then why not mate. Diesels seem to last long if maintained well.

cheap and cheerful stuff dude e.g. springs and a nice set of wheels. Save the rest for a sport :cool:

My Yozza is horrible on the motorway buddy. I wouldn't recommend it if you do a lot of miles in it.

I would only lower it about 40mm but its personal preference mate.

Maybe lower it and new wheels... Wouldn't spend a lot tho, save up for a sport :)
