Small video from when I went to the nurburgring with some photos I took and some from the professional photographers

Its not that bad but you end up kinda sat on the floor leaning over the sill (which digs into your ribs) as you wiggle around under the peddles. Fortunately I have a bendy 6mm socket so wasn't to bad for access other than the highest bolt.
great thread, just finished mine off.
Its a bit fiddly under there, especially when it comes to lining the cog's back up. I ended up taking the closest motor off so I could line up the rear first and then adjust the position of the other cog with my fingers and remount the motor.
managed to fix my climate control from this thread
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?308548-Only-hot-air-out-of-heater!&highlight=air+con+only+blows+hot+cable+tie
It's a pain in the arse for access but all sorted and fully working now, just need a re-gass for the aircon..
The system will still need more adjustment, I've found that due to streaming from my iphone via A2DP some tracks are a little harsh (possibly due to apples built in eq) however from a genuine cd it sounds great.
I would imagine that they would sound ok through the head unit on its own but I've always found it best to match the speaker's rms to a amp more for clarity than volume purposes. (This ensures the source or head unit isn't being strained allowing improved quality)
I didn't touch the stock...
From what I gather I need to sack off the Pipercross induction kit and get either a Espace V6 airbox / standard airbox with a Pipercross panel filter to reduce intake temp thus ensuring better AFR and possibly a little more power/torque.
so after these results I had a timing issue and a lambda issue which I had sorted thanks to Mick at diamond motors!
I'd also added a cat back Magnex system.
so another day at the rollers to confirm what she's running.
I had said before we went that I wanted 172bhp and with 171.6bhp I...
Seems more than capable for my use, and as above very easy to install. I can't really say if it's just the speakers or the amp but much better volume and clarity all round
not components or tweeters but iv'e just installed this lot. great value for money
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?755869-Time-to-upgrade-the-stereo!
So I always had a good system in all of my cars, even my first car (fiesta mk3) was upgraded before I'd even passed my test with 6x9's and sub.
so after hours of surfing the tinterwebs I had come up with a solution to the clio's poor audio capability.
so firstly I know alot of you go for the...
So I'm looking into spacing my wheels and I know not to buy cheap ones on the front so will be looking at hub centric however my question is about the rear..
ive seen many spacers that will also add camber to the rear going from -0.5 degrees upto -2.5 degrees
what are people's opinions on...
So after a quick baz I'm quite impressed, not to loud whilst cruising and a bit deeper when you've got your foot down. There seems to be a noticeable difference in power but obviously it could just be the placebo effect from the noise. I'm going to get booked in at dyno-tech and fingers crossed...
Before fitting I had to have it welded on the flange that goes to the cat (I assume this was done when it was hammered off the car it came from) and you can now feel a little bit of air coming through so I'll need to get that looked at but otherwise its all good.
I'm just waiting for traffic...
I've also acquired a Magnex cat back exhaust with twin tail pipe, so my house-mate made me pull my finger out and we got that fitted just now,
standard removed
old vs new
new fitted
and back on the deck
so I've not been posting much recently so thought id give a bit of a update,
at the end of july a random bolt had sheered and fell into my cambelt and managed to cause it to fail fortunately without taking out anything else.
thanks to mick @ diamond motors thats all been sorted along with...
So it turns out the cambelt has slipped (no head damage tho) so thanks to mick she's getting the treatment.
new cambelt, dephaser, aux belt, and water pump whilst he's at it.
I can't wait to get rid of this vectra and be back in the Clio Monday/Tuesday.
