Sell the ball joints maybe Tony and make some cash back or just get the PMS spherical's, considering the price of new oem you could buy the PMS kit and be able to replace the bearings alone when necessary.
Re: Ph1 172
No I mean the flanges sit inside the hose so there is a 3mm step in the bore according to your measurements given where the flange stops, the hose is and then the other flange starts. There will be a turbulence at this point as its acting like a reverse Venturi. I build mixers at...
Re: Ph1 172
Clever idea Tom but I can't help but think the step from the flanges is going to have an affect on performance. Could you not get an ally bend at whatever the diameter and follow the same principal but the pipe being welded to the flanges.
Im so good it hurts sometimes lol.
Question for you guys, have you evolved the design since release as I have the original group buy model but I fitted a friends one a few months later and I noticed knurling on the front part of the linkage and also changes to the bearings and bushes on the...
Phone Omex, they are very helpful. You will need a momentary switch and some wire from what I remember Omex saying. They sell them for about a fiver iirc.
Its one of team dynamics two promo cars, they have the full kit, brakes, wheels and not a lot else that is shared with the racecar. They have cages and seats etc but nothing of the same quality or money being spent on the racers.
They get used for track days by the team and by the drivers to do...
They sell competition parts so you should expect small rattles, harshness etc etc, its the nature of competition parts.
Someone with one on the road needs to try securing a weight onto the selector rod.
If you only want 4 pots for bragging rights then fair enough but there is no comparison between the 406 lug mounted v 197/225 radial mounted. What go you do about the expensive suspension you already might have on the front, change it out to mk1 Clio stuff?
You can fit whatever disks you want...
Re: Road/Track 172
That's still a fairly nice improvement for high comp pistons and some head work, if you went with 422's or 423's you might have seen more peak figures but I bet it will go well as is.
I you can make it, go for it, its with Track Scotland. The places will sell out fairly...
The noise disappears if you just hold the the reverse lock sleeve, it doesn't need to be held forward or back, left or right, you only need to reduce the vibrations coming from the engine which a weight on the selector rod will do.
Wether it totally gets rid of it I'm doubtful but I bet you can...
I have one that I'm willing to get rid of or failing that phone R-sport in Wimbledon and ask for the Motorsport parts, Adam Wolverhampton might be able to get discount.

Its the reverse select sleeve that rattles against the gearstick. Danny's suggestion is good, if you jubilee clip on a weight at different points on the connecting rod until your rattle reduces.
The ph1's have a weight built into the front part of the standard sliding joint.
500x500mm is plenty, you'll find uses for the rest in a racecar. You are better making two heat shields rather what you have pictured.
Something like this.

Re: Road/Track 172
Neil sorry about one of the bearings being U/S. They seemed fine when they left my place IMO and you can't check a bearing properly untill the cv joint pulls it together unless its totally shagged in which case it wasn't.
Pm me your PayPal and I'll refund some money for a...
