No you have the full Xenon works including the level sensor on your rear axle and the auto adjusters on the back of the headlights but someone has replaced just the headlights themselves for poverty spec.
Fit xenon headlights and you'll be all the bash.
Looks good, I have never seen that paint smear method before. Does it look good close up?
I would suggest refitting the interior door pulls as they just bolt right back on, you don't want to be clawing for that little nipple if the worst happens.
Your geo settings look good too, you might find...
Split the loom open so you see where everything goes and just trace back and make sure you don't cut out the earths for the OBD port or any adjoining wires. You will see the earths when you get it opened up, there heat shrunk together and black.
Alright you changing the all the coolant system pipework as well?
You will have to thinking about it with a single pass. Your taking header tank return directly from the rad?
Exactly as it brings the tyre closer to the arch which acts as a ref point.
Nothing to worry about really as it can be shimmed to suit unless its got massive toe +\- and also a new axle in the worst case.
Also not meaning to be a buzz kill bits its sitting positive camber which you would...
I have Brembo 4 pots setup for sale that fit on mk1's too but I think you'll need spacers to fit behind williams wheels. George has just done the same so best to answer.
And also you might want to route the brake hose different to what you have in the first pic or it will rub through. If its 197 hoses you have then they will need a hole drilling in the inner arch and a p-clip fitting to keep them clear of the wheels.
Dint pay attention to how far out the...
Yeah they are fine George, they are stud and nuts which is a must for 280mm disks. I'm guessing you have a hole machined through the bracket too?
edit: Sorry George but anyone looking for the same setup contact me as I have a used set that needs shifting.
Sure am.
That last post was worded a bit strong, quite a few 16" wheels would fit but spacers are almost a given. My 16" et40 pro race 1.2's needed 10mm to work with 280mm disks which isn't too bad I suppose.
George you will see n the bottom of the picture the mounting face is essentially flat to fit the 280mm disks where as 300mm are raised. The mounts also need to be 5mm bigger as Wayne says (hi) which gives another 10mm diameter change.
If you really want then large 5mm penny washers and non...
The blue book is a book of riddles and 90% of the time is up to the scruts perception of that rule, your best to speak to a scrut whenever entering competition.
It looks like they have dropped extinguishers all together and even a cage is a choice in the 'production class'. The rules are just...
Visually as above first then
CV's:
Hold the cv in one hand and the main shaft in the other. Rotate them against each other and feel for any back lash, there should be very little. Then push the cv in and out along the length again there should be no play.
O/S drive side:
Check the 3 roller...
Depends at what level your car is at.
If it still has interior, bucket seats and no rear seats are allowed iirc then no need for any extinguisher. I would advise a handheld just incase.
Anything more than that interior wise then you need a plumbed in version.
edit: also if you have a...
I plan to be out in Sports & Saloons mid summer in this http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?650378-Another-Clio-172-Cup-track-race-build and also some rounds of SLS and OPL TD's if they fall in my time off, it just needs completed now.
I done a fair few trackdays last year in this...
Could be mapped like that, unlikely.
If everything was previously okay then an Air leak on ITB's or where the carbon canister used to go on the breather plate or maybe the throttle cable or ITB linkage bound up.
Don't worry so did I.
I hadnt planned on doing a list as they usually scare you but here is a list off the top of my head:-
Engine:
Finish cooling system with some more mikalor clamps.
Mount oil cooler and make aeroquip lines.
Make bracket, mount breather tank and make aeroquip lines.
Make...
Hi.
If I could pay someone a grand or so to complete the last bits and know they would do them how I want then it would have been done a few months back. Unfortunately I can't trust anyone working on my cars, I would end up taking apart what whoever had done and would have wasted my money.
I...
