What you trying to say like. I would rather drive it than compare its data to another car. A lap timer with sector times and projected best would be all I need to actually improve lap times while in the car.
Haha aye well that helps, hence the quick progress too. I thought you were doing the work at a mates stock car lock up lol.
Yeah its 'banned' but so is many things at Knockhill but that's why its great to do track days there, they are very lenient. I'm pretty sure the beacons are left on most...
The 406 calliper is not very good, they are only known as they fit on 106's and mk1 clio's with no mods so they became popular. I'm not a fan but its better looking than standard.
Never s**t on anything police related or anything you don't want to be found for. A t**t I went to school with done it on a teachers desk when they raided a classroom one night, 5-6 years down the line he got nabbed for something and they swabbed and finger printed him. It was still on the data...
You've done a good job on this Gaz, helps when your pals have a nice workshop with all the tools at hand.
Whats involved in wiring the DT lap timer? Do you need a beacon? I'm needing one, most racers run them at KH so they must be okay.
I put the kit together myself well over a year ago with the intention of fitting to my race car which I then thought better of it and put them on my track car for a season. They were brilliant tbh. I then removed them, stripped them, cleaned and painted bits and bobs so they look nice for sale.
@MartinR what's your address so I can post that bag of faeces I have just put together for you.
@Archtronics no they're the 280mm setup, the more expensive and more difficult of the two brackets that are made.
That rant wasn't directed at you mate.
Pete your theory is absolutely correct and that's what I plan to have along with a rig so I can string the wheels.
A bump steer gauge, a good camber gauge and a string rig and you can do everything in the one go in about 20 mins while only taking the front wheels of once.
I have a full setup up for sale for £500 delivered with everything inc braided lines and two sets of pads but everyone seems to think its expensive. I challenge anyone to put a kit together with the quality parts I have for less than that unless you get parts for free.
Thats less than the...
I have an ECU and Raychem loom that I'm 70% sure on selling I just need to finalise my other ECU and loom. It depends how fancy you want things really and how quickly you are looking to buy.

I will also have basically brand...
Omex do full packages.
That £2100 sounds a little cheap, I would make sure that has everything from sensors to pedals to coil pack mounts.
Alternatively K-Tec do DTH kits but I'm not a fan.
I would check them out tbh, get the car jacked up and remove all the nuts and pull the bolts out 10mm or so to check for ovaling.
My old cup came with a bent wishbone and elongated hole in the O/S/F rear wishbone hole, its honestly the most dangerous car I have driven and I am a mechanic to...
You have just described knackered wishbone bushes mate or even slack wishbones and the holes have been elongated.
I know you say they're new but how new as that's the only on a Clio that will cause going one direction under acceleration and another under braking.
Is it the radio not working or just no sound at all when playing CD's too? If the former then get speakers out and continuity check from the stereo multi plug to the speaker plugs, if none they you have found the problem.
If the latter do the same with the aerial wire, the connection may have...
What a story I needed a fag after that, glad you made it out alive and I hope the V5 turns up for you.
I would have taken the guys head off if he made me travel 7.5 hrs for that saying it was mint and to give £40 off for a £50 MOT is an insult haha. Looks horrific for 2k IMO but everyone's idea...
Pointless bit of info that I learnt in my apprenticeship, they're transmission and driveline manufacturers.
ZF = Zahnradfabrik which roughly translates into the toothed wheel maker or words close to.
Cups have more caster than ph1's so they will rub more. I ran my track car with no arch liners and xenons with no problems, in behind the bumper does get quite dirty though.
Let it rub through the arch liner for a few days and makes its own hole and the noise will most likely go away, it did...
Re: Ph1 172
You should be alright with the extra length as you say but he does mention
"This is not an air flow issue; you can see how that looks on the Fiesta test elsewhere in these pages. I believe it is the curve taking the edge off the intake pulse and so marginally reducing the effect"...
Re: Ph1 172
But you slide the flange inside the hose so there must be lol!! Anyway good cheap idea Tom, you could make huge trumpets if you had the room, I look forward to the results.
Haha Its called money wise not tight... okay.
Someone will w**k themselves into a coma for oem+ ball joints on here. £26 a piece for lemfoder retail iirc.
