I couldnt resist using a VPN last night to play it for 2 hours. Had to LOL at all the lvl1 VPN users on the European servers joking about the weather in Hong Kong and the likes haha.

Depending on where you are located Id have a browse of the specialists on here and make a trip to whichever is local. Even if you dont get the problem fixed they can at least give you a proper diagnosis so you can return to Renault and get whatever it is fixed under warranty.

Origin allowed me to preload last night, 49.9GB later and im ready for release. If i wanted to (and many people are) its possible to use a VPN to fool your Origin into thinking you are in a timezone where the game is released so you can play early, but im happy to wait until Friday.

Id imagine its all processor related bottle necks on a game like this, my "gaming" laptop is a Intel Core i7 4702MQ 2.40GHz. What are you running mate?

Same boat here. If I have 3 AI, myself and 2 planets its playable. However as the game progresses and they start massing their HUGE armies and they are swarming all over the planet things get laggy. I also tried experimenting with adding more planets, moons and so on but I havent figured out how...

Im too heavily invested in the PC version to switch now. But i do recommend it, its a nice alternative to the whole "you are a soldier running around and spraying enemies". I dont know if the xbox version has the same tanks as the PC version but if so go French for the autoloaders!

I'm really enjoying it too. I run around with the SMG you unlock at lvl6 i think and having the Tank titan on auto follow, the AI does a much better job of controling the titan than I do. I couldnt quite get my graphics setup right and i kept getting tearing ocasionally when turning around...
