Others have already covered it all but the only thing I would add is that If you were rear ended by the other party and they admitted liability then dont contact your insurance until its settled. You should have phoned and claimed direct from their insurance company and dealt with them directly...

The only thing to bare in mind is the adjustor motors for height, Renault changed the design between 172/182 so the plug was different. It means if you buy say a 182 xenon for a 172, you just need to swap the adjustor motor on the back over and visa versa. If you do buy xenons online, I cant...

Its basically the same size as the 182 wheel, if marginally smaller. You just don't notice it in the Mk3 cabin as everything is scaled up.

With xenon headlights there is more than just the bulbs to worry about, its essentially 3 parts: Bulb, Ballast, Ignitor. Underneath each headlight unit is bolted a Ballast, so if swapping the bulb doesnt cure it you should look at swapping these over as the next thing...

You should have 2 files, 8200_xxxx.rst and 8200_xxxx.cal. You need to update with the .rst first (which updates software version), than upload the .cal (remap file) afterwards once the versions match.

Seems very positive overall. Any news on the uptake of the -R's yet? from reading the topic on PH it seems a couple of people have left deposits already!
