But that is in essence exactly what they have done Sharky. They have removed the "best" settings from the PC release, when the very nature of PC gaming means there will always be a variety of hardware platforms to cater for; I cant think of any other game that has deliberately capped itself...
I just posted this in the Watch Dogs thread but I reckon it deserves a mention here:

TLDR: Ubisoft show off impressive footage at E3 2012; final game doesnt look as good...
That whole stuff about reactiving the disabled settings in the game is really kicking off now. Just google "watch dogs pc" news and its littered with articles such as:

Some French interview but includes some shots of the cars. Nice to see the Brembo's making a sly return to the Trophy after they got removed during the 265 facelift.
Massive kodus to Renault for doing this again after the R26.R. I imagine by limiting to 30 they will be fairly depreciation proof as well (in relative Renault terms). Well played.
40k actually!
An optional Nurburgring Pack with lithium ion battery (-16kg), 'Performance'
brakes with bigger 350mm discs on aluminium bells (-3kg), Sabelt harnesses,
wheel bags for your track rubber and a retaining strap to stop them rattling
around in the back will offered if you insist on...

It'll end up being ported no doubt to cash in, Activision do it with all their recent games.
Lol my exact thoughts. Why go to the effort of creating an eBay listing then shoot yourself in the foot with the worst advert possible? I cant even be bothered to read the wall of text.

Its in the Daily Mail, must be true!
I've got the Dogbone for sale if you are interested?

If your car is still running the standard Dogbone it left the factory with, you will deffinately notice a difference.
If you want the simplest fix (and cheapest), fit headlight washer blanks instead. They cant fail an MOT if they are not present to be tested. Other than that I have no other ideas/suggestions im affraid. Good luck!
I have to admit I was tempted to pick one up for the Monster Hunter franchise, loved that game when I had it on my PSP years ago. I just cant justify a console for 1 or 2 titles though.
The build quality has come along way in the 15yrs or so since the mk2 was created, you will notice this more so now coming from your perspective so bare that in mind. If your using it as a daily drive this will become especially noticeable in the "guess the squeek/rattle" game on your commute...
Sorry! missed the last bit of your post:
Either way, someone is going to visit the car and verify what the cause was and the customer relations team will take it from there.
Because in this instance they are implying a stone has killed an engine so id say to save face, this is one of those exceptional circumstances that warrants a trip by a Renault assessor surely?
If I made an accusation about a customers pen killing a CPU I think my IT expertise would come under...
FLOL! Claiming that a stone has shredded the belt and therefore warranty doesnt cover it, nice. The only good aspect of the warranty is the cost of parts, having to use main dealer labour is more harm than good.
Surely if you just collected the car yesterday you have the grounds to return it to where you bought it? Have the garage write a report of what is wrong and go back to the place you bought it from with their findings, demand a refund or contribution.
I'm in Fatty's clan atm, the only reason I checked out the game was because of this topic as I didnt really have anything else to kill time on my phone. I can see what people say about it being slow, but I kind of like that because it means you dont need to dedicate huge chunks of time you just...
