@.J.a.m.e.s. I got @bloke to do mine (he isn't a million miles away I'm only in Widnes and for what he charges seem's pointless doing it myself) car is currently in with him having PMS top mounts and brace fitted and tbf I would highly recommend him as he know's his stuff plus you get too see...
Ring round and use all the online comparison sites might have too install a black box or do some pass plus or driver training might help.
When I was 18 (jeez 10 years ago lol) I bought myself a Golf R32 didn't check inusrance lol £4 grand lighter I was driving it too Germany and took it on the...
Thanks @MicKPM is that 3 different sizes for the same unit they just are used for different adjustments or are they model specific so if I find out what model i had and go from there to see what size i would need.
I'm running the BC for my track car and find them pretty good, I need too have the ride height adjusted I think as my rear seems a little low at the back compared too the front and I'm sure the clio's are supposed too have a little bit of rake on them.
@MicKPM do you know the best place to get...
I went the Geneva motorshow and sat in the Civic and didn't like it lol plus the spoiler was a let down no lights up the ends to make it look like devil horns lol... Plus the VXR8 is a big family saloon so its sensible haha just cant decide
I'm looking at either waiting for the New Focus RS (not going well as i HATE waiting) or looked at 2 VXR8's this week (a White Bathurst S which is 1 of 18 made and a normal, well not limited edition lol 730hp Supercharged one) the white Bathurst is a bit overpriced so waitng too see if the guy...
Only thing i have trouble with is the hub nut because its something like 280nm so either borrow one from the fitters at work or just do it F*%king tight.
I use one bought from Aldi when they had the sale of car tools on feels good and never had any problems with it just unscrew the end when ive finished using it as to not leave and pressure on it and it last's longer (apparently supposed to do this anyway)
I only paid £45 a corner for my Michelin PS3 in 195/50/15 from mytyres.com and they have been great on road and on track when I've used them they are much better than the Toyo T1 I have used although they were on my r32 so had AWD too hide the poor grip you would get with only 2 wheels working.
Was on a trailer being towed by a VW Transporter. I went past in my brothers Crafter was North bound about 11pm. Think.the name on the windows was Blythe can't remember the number.
Yeah I've been using my 172 track car since I sold my daily. Buckets, Harnesses, striped with a cage lol. Live close enough to work to cycle it and use my missus car because it's bigger and we have a 8 month old.
Fancy some decals or stickers to make my track car stand out a little and look a bit more #racer lol was gonna advertise my brothers plumbing business or my parents computer business on the car along with a number or something.
I know the openo deal was on but sometimes people don't get them or they say sorry wrong price. Plus it's not very often they do them that cheap and for £75 they're pretty cheap compared too the £100 (ish) they are at the min.
Used these before and had no problems just seen these and thought they were pretty cheap so I would post them up. (also if wrong place or better suited to Track Tyre thread in the Race/Track section please feel free to move)...
Is there anything in particular too watch out for with used tyres? Does the amount of heat cycles matter? Was going too check even wear and make sure they're not too worn on the edges etc. Are they worth a try £120 for part worns I know they are about that each new. @Steven103
No mate not said I'll have any yet wanted too see how much he said first might just get a set myself and try them. Kill my AD08 chasing you lot on the 20th and replace them with the Dunlop.
