@MarkX Did you do the first few at a slow speed and build up to the heavy stops? I think it says do xx stops from 30mph and xx stops from 50mph. I just dont wanna put them in and go out and look like a k**b trying to bed them in lol I'll be sure to put something over my fog light holes to stop...

@Josh can't find the post about you doing yours and was just wanting to check. Did you manage to do them on the sighting laps? And did you have to let the marshals know before you went out, did you just hang at the back until the last car went out? And how did you find them? I hope they're good...

Had my electric power steering done, litre race battery and my SM Turkish inlet fitted/mapped (194.7hp and 165lb/ft) and a PMS stud kit fitted.

Yeah was really impressed with the outcome for the money, I WAS looking at bodies but wanted most reliable set up for track work and to keep costs to a minimum and the SM inlet fitted and mapped worked out cheaper than a set of 2nd hand bodies on their own. Don't have the noise that itb would...

have you checked with @Neil@greenlight can't remember if they require 21 or not. On my daily road car policy I have my mum as a named driver (me as the main her as 2nd) and knocks about £100 quid off depending on what car I had the current rust box I'm using at the minute for work is about £60...

@klm182 if your close enough I would highly recommend @bloke does all my work on my track car and whenever I get 3/4 the way through something he sorts it out lol.

Also circuit days have a track day there on the 8th April http://circuit-days.co.uk/event_info.asp?id=620 I'm trying to get the time off work to go plus javelin are doing Spa 2 days before it also so might be a tough 3 days for my little clio if I can get the time off lol.

That is one very nice car, well done to you hugely impressed and love the fact it's a PH1. What sort of money have you spent on the project so far?

I'll see what it's like and if I have too I can change to an odyssey one just wanna get it in and sorted so I can get my 'Turkish' RS2 style inlet fitted and mapped at efi wanna see if the results @bloke got were hopefully not a one off lol.

Normally do a track day once a month sometimes twice a month so hopefully should be fine.

Ordered one this morning so hopefully it turns up soon and I can get on with getting it fitted. Didn't bother with getting the one that came with a charger as if it needs it I can always just put it in charge in the house. As it's not a daily just a track car not too bad if it doesn't start I...

@Korky do you use the brass adapters for the battery terminals for using the standard connection? Or just the screw top things.

Anyone using one in their Clio? I'm looking at getting one so I can leave the larger filter fitted on the RS2 style inlet I've got waiting to fit. As it's probably cheaper at £44.50 with a bracket for the battery than changing the filter lol. It's on ebay but I'm struggling to post a like for...
