Just emailed the guy about the one with the mileage difference on the MOT and the advert just asked about the mileage and if the advert was correct just replied, sorry car is sold, wonder who bought it.
I have the money for a trophy just finding the right one that's the problem lol the supercharged one on ebay looms like a good car with the condition and miles but wondering if it would be worth putting it back to standard and flogging the charger (after running it for a few weeks to see what...
Exactly what I'm thinking Tim if I can't find a decent Trophy I may just buy a nice 182 and add a few little mods to bring it upto Trophy spec. I seen a black gold 182 that had sachs, recaro etc and Trophy decals and it looked very nice (OK not a trophy so shouldn't have the decals but could do...
Yeah @masekwm that was an option, doesn't even have to be AST's something nicely set up would probably do me. Just like the idea of a Trophy but not totally set on one as I know there are some nice car's out there just as if not more capeable probably for less money lol
The one i seen is in the...
I seen a nice one with 59k miles but 5 owners - £6.5k but does look nice. Other side is either finding a decent FF 182 unless something else that gets my attention drives past lol
@dablk low miles would be around 50-70k ish, I seen the hype lol if I can't get a decent one for OK money I'll just look more into a FF 182, @optical Yeah she can't reach the backs of the seat yet but would have the passenger seat pulled forward when she's in her seat to stop her kicking...
I'm thinking (only thinking as I haven't decided what to do yet) about getting a Trophy as I only used my other car a few time a week (just sold it as the guy offered me more than I paid and it was just sitting there not getting used) and just need something I can pick the baby up from nursery...
This was my setup from Blink using their Track Demon setting, They are very helpful and I will be going back soon to have some more work done. I did have to get a shim for the rear where you can see it's out.
Do you just need front door cards? My mate has just stripped out his clio and was going to bin his interior not sure what he has done with door card's but i'll ask him (your local anyway)
Slower lap times haha too much weight. I have driven mine a handful of times on the road since fitting my PMS shifter and currently the vibrations are not getting on my nerves haha not yet anyway.
I'm going to bite the bullet and order some PMS stud's for my track car as I'm sick to death of trying to line up the holes lol only unsure what length I should go for? I don't run any spacers, but was thinking maybe I should future proof them so I could if needed (brake upgrade or something)...
I use the Fuchs Titan same as Cub although some people will say just use the factory spec oil but I don't find the Fuchs too expensive and service it myself so saves money that way.
Same here haha I'm getting ball and chained next year so totally understand the having no spare fund's plus anything I do manage to save get's spent on our new daughter lol.
Looks like a good list hope you have a build thread or keep us updated at least. I wouldn't mind a full cage once mine...
I was just thinking of an engine to put on a stand and tinker with (i.e strip down and have it ready built back up with ported head, cam's etc as a project in the spare time as and when I can chuck some spare money at it or find cheap turbo parts lol) is just a pipe dream at the minute.
Would only do it if I can fit it in with my track car would be nice to build a rolling shell up with a proper cage and everything ready for an engine to drop in, would love to be able to work on an engine and have something that I could say 'I built that' unless it's broken down then I would...
Hmm that's good to know, I run 2118 and some BK Racing multi-fit that were on the car when I bought it and have some OZ F1 in the shed waiting for me to decide what tyre's to put on them lol would be interested in a set of these if some came up cheap (will have to let my local breakers yard...
I'm pretty sure it's the 10th (thats what I'm booked on to anyway) The date's I have written down to remind me of the next days I'm doing are
13th Oct
10th Nov
5th Dec and 11th Dec
Apparently something from a VW golf (not sure which model or year) will fit the rear on the clio coilover wise but I'm not sure think it was @bloke who mentioned it too me.
Can't wait just been talking to my dad and he is rebuilding a garage at the rear of some shops that he owns and is going to be doing the garage for having somewhere to work on the clio if we need to lol was thinking of buying a MOT fail or something for a few hundred quid to have and strip down...
I have the BC coilovers which are adjustable on the rear they are pretty decent for the price around £700 i think although not 100% as they were on when I bought it, I would like some with coilover on the rear but don't wanna spend silly money on the AST at the minute while the BC are doing the...
Got a 13 month old who's draining my car spending money lol not to mention the nursery fees lol I could be rocking a GTR or something if I didn't have kids haha but they're worth it sometimes.
