I've been with my missus 11 years, enaged about 5 and only now has she managed to get me to agree to setting a date for the wedding lol managed a good run haha plus having a baby takes up most of my money now lol just think of the stuff I could buy with the nursery fee money..
I wouldn't mind if that was the way round @V6Dan if I had the room on the drive for a crappy commuter I would have lol but I have my VXR8 which is used now and again and my Cup which is mainly a track car but I can use it for my daily drive between both my cars I might do 5k a year lol most of...
True always worth a try, think I'll give it a try the next day out at Oulton (might palm it off on my dad first, I'll just say 'bet you can't figure this out' lol he'll go all Alpha male and wont stop until it's done (reverse psychology for the win haha)
Yeah lol, I took my supercharged V8 on the Dyno at EFi the other day was down about 50hp on what it' supposed to be, now I'm currently sat looking at meth injection kits and a cam package 😧 might have to cancel the wedding haha
I know OP is on about rears but like Fletcher said I also run the fronts with no shims for the reason being they were a tight fit so maybe the rears are the same and need too be run without the shims, just gives that little bit of extra room. Although on the front the RC6 I run just fit snug...
Thanks @eon172 I'll have too look on his website when I'm at my computer and can have a proper look round on it. My Go pro is wireless (Hero 4 Black edition) so will hopefully work well with it.
Awesome work and looks lovely, if it was mine I would be well chuffed with the results. And I think if I hadn't long bought my VXR8 I would have bought one of these instead lol
I just assumed with the couple of VW/Audi's I have been in with Air ride that were pretty crap on handling it was across the board with most of the kits, but to be fair most of the time they were running 19/20" rims and about 5 ton of audio / sound deadening.
Was a good turn out, and plenty of car's running. Mine managed 540hp and 540lb/ft so happy with that even though it was warm today I doubt that would be the reason it's down on its quoted book figure of 600hp and 600lb/ft but it's still bloody quick lol will try and get my print out posted up.
These cars are sorted handling wise so wouldn't ruin it with Air ride, like above if you had something which suited being slammed on the deck then yeah but a Clio i dont think would suit it. Go for MORE POWER lol
I'm after having my other car under sealed as it wasn't done from factory being Australian, Ideally I'm looking for somewhere local (ish) in the northwest area. I have had one recommendation so far in Liverpool but I'm yet too speak to them. I have the details on my computer at home so not sure...
Off topic but just found out apparently my VXR8 AP Racing setup run's DS2500 and I don't think they're that impressive tbh although 600hp and 1900kg takes some stopping lol and I HATE the amount of dust they give off. Good job the clio is only 167hp and 1000kg (ish) lol
Lol I'm thinking about buying them myself haha but only done one day on my current 888 which is the first time I've used them on a track day never used a track focused tyre before.
I have just fitted an magnetic sump plug myself and same on the black drain tray lol (i use an old cat litter tray haha)I brought home a few 5 litre tubs from work which I can put oil in and get rid when I go the tip.
Yeah George that's why I think it's hard to ask what people think about pads sometimes you'll have to bite the bullet and just try some different pads too see what you find best for yourself, just with the cost it's not something i can justify swapping out if you don't like them.
Looks good bit of kit after hearing how some people can't stand the cabin noise, is the 'noise/buzzing' that bad? I'm on the lookout for a PMS shifter before I bite the bullet and buy retail lol mine's mainly track car but does get some use on the road/
Same here now I use the Brembo OEM stuff from George on the road to save my RC6 for track as they seem to wear pretty quick (plus the squeal does my head in on the road lol) but found the RC6 were fine performance wise on the road never had any issues bar noise I'm also keen to try something...
I've just changed mine on my (mainly) track car it's done about 6-8 track days since last being done at that rate mine would get done twice a year. Could do it once a year I suppose as track cars are normally warmed up and cooled down better than a road car even though they get driven harder in...
I'm looking for something setup wise to record video and overlay the cars data (seen some video's with it on like revs, speed etc) and fancied trying it myself whats the best type of setup too use. Doesn't have to be Harry's I've just heard that one mentioned before. What do you guys use? I'm...
I like my RC6 but as MarkX has pointed out the do seem to be wearing down quick (mine dont seem to wear as bad as his but driving styles differ and all that) I'm keen to either try the next level of carbon lorraine (RC8 or something) or maybe the DS1.11 although it was mentioned about the...
