Hi all,
I've had a search but cannot find a definitive answer... What method do you use for running in a freshly built F4R engine (new bores, rings, forged rods and pistons, rebuilt head etc.)?
The engine is boosted, if this makes any difference.
Thanks in advance.
Or contact the company who supplied the exhaust and ask for the full fitting kit?
The above mount you've linked would not work, this needs to be a specific size or the exhaust will sag on one side.
As I said, it goes (bolts) between the chassis and OE rear exhaust mount, it can only fit one way!
A rubber fits on the bracket hanger and the back box hanger.
The plate fits between the chassis and OE rear exhaust mount, it provides additional support for the backbox. It should be pretty self explanatory when looking at the mount and backbox :)
*sigh*
Do they gain power: Yes
Are they worth the money: That's down to the individual
PH-1's have the worst inlet casting / matching, RS stamped inlets which come on the later 1*2's are better but still not perfect.
