I think @MarkX was the guy who made it work with the ports. I bought some to try but I broke one of them trying to push fit it! In hindsight enlarging the diameter of the fog light recess slightly beforehand would have been a good idea. Might have another go next time I get some spare time.
Hi all,
As per the title really. My car's paintwork is pretty decent but it has a lot of swirl marks and I'd like to treat it to a detail at some point.
Can anybody recommend me someone within a reasonable distance of Wiltshire or Somerset? Cheltenham is also an option as i'm there at...
1.) They're £150 new and look like they have plenty of life in them so wouldn't say you're out of pocket.
2.) Theoretically if you paired bigger with smaller I guess you would ensure that both sides wear out at the same time. Or you could just keep them as they are and replace as a pair when...
Thanks @Ads29 hadn't seen your replies until just now but funnily enough have left a message with Carson
Pardon my ignorance but what are my best options with regards to camber/toe on standard shocks? The car is my daily and will see a track probably 3 times a year.
After searching...
Must admit I didn't realise kwik sh*t had hunter equipment. My nearest one does so I may have to go for that. You have any idea how much they charge out of interest?
I'm on the Somerset/Wiltshire border. Ads is ~15 mins down the road from me so thought he might be able to recommend somewhere locally. There's a place in Westbury trading estate I get most of my work done at but the guy happens to be on holiday at the moment.
Hi All,
I fitted solid suspension top mounts at the weekend. I'm guessing it goes without saying that I should have the wheel alignment checked now?
The car is fitted with standard cup shocks and cooksport springs. I have no camber bolts etc. With my setup is there any real benefit in going...
Hi All,
I have a strange issue with my headlights. Before Xmas the nearside failed and yesterday the offside failed. Switching lights on/off had no effect but when left overnight both times they started working fine again the next day. Both times the failure has happened the weather has been...
Thanks for looking into it mate. I would be up for it if we can get a big enough group for a discount but it's just going to be 2 or 3 of us £54 all in sounds a bit steep for me.
Will you be using it on track just as a bit of fun a few times a year or more seriously and more often than that?
I'm planning on using mine on track 3 or 4 times a year (the rest of the time it's my daily) and so far I've found it's a very capable car in standard (ish) form. You can have a...
Had a Google, standard offset looks like it's ET20: http://www.wheelfitment.eu/car/Citroen/ZX%20(1991%20-%201997).html
See if you can find that printed anywhere on the inside of the wheel. Although if it is ET20, with the adapters increasing your track width by 20mm as well I think I'm correct...
Sorry to hijack but my windscreen is also covered in lots of fine scratches that reduce visibility at night. Might be a stupid question but is it possible to polish scratches out of glass in the same way you can remove swirl marks from paint?
