You need to decontaminate the car before polishing, using a dedicated iron dissolver (which removes brake dust and iron filings) like IronX, Tar dissolver like Tardis. You may then need to clay the car with a clay bar, have a look on youtube for some videos, Bilt Hamber make a few good clay bars...

Yea you can put it over most things and on most surfaces, but applying it to a fresh car after polishing will give it the best chance of lasting.
Very easy stuff to use, just spray and buff with a microfibre.

Fair enough! I know what you mean, it was limiting on the bend coming round to the pit straight, but I didn't want to have to peel my Clio off the tyres because I thought I was better than I am. :o
Just out of interest Mark, do you use TC on track in the Clio?

It is, will work very well on the Alcantara, there is another product called L1 for leather, but it's probably the same stuff.
