So had a bit of spare time this weekend.
Managed to find a donor car for some bits, so got all my lights, wipers, horns and windows to work so 1 less problem come mot time
I also grabbed the radiator surround and got rid of the idle control motor block, hoping to run idle control through omex...
You can put one together, and use the efi boost module, all in for about 3-3500 if your average with spanners
Only down fall is you need the meg keyway'd crank pulley. So is an after cam belt job really
A charger set up bar the cambelt is a fairly straight forward job tbf, bar fitting of cam belt and crank pulley, you can do it in s weekend on your driveway if your decent with a halfords tool kit, map it on low boost with a efi module from scoff @ efi
So after a trial fit of my charger intake, I found it was still too small a space for the filter location I wanted, loads of searching around and I came up with this
Much shorter and fits my spal fan very well, it's from a 1.5 dci Clio
Radiator was £26 delivered so absolute bargain and fan...
Just make sure of the sizes as some belts have a tolerance of a few mm as in it may say 1978mm on packet but it's actually 1975mm in length but I'm sure you will be ok
I can't help with exact size as I'm on a no power steering set up, so a fair bit different
But all I did was go to gsf/ecp and order a range of belts so I would be grab a 6pk1980 and maybe a 6pk1985 and see which one fits and go from there, return the ones that don't fit
So got the new exhaust fitted today - rather rare now, yozza race system
Then switched to getting the charger sorted
Mounted up all fine, then turned my attention to addressing the imo 3 - 4 major failing points of the s/c on clios
1. Overspeeding
2. Overheating
3.Alignment /...
Pop over my way in Poole and I will sell you some supercharger brackets and you can fit it all in a weekend, map it at efi on standard ecu all for around 3 grand Low boost is the only way to go imo
