^^^ Amazing difference, I knew they were bad but can't quite believe how soft the Photobucket shot looks (Thumbsnap looked even worse on a previous page)
Which iPad are you using? Even with the big shot the iPad 2/3 will be more than good enough for that resolution (the original iPad had a very...
As with real photography there is a vast difference in the quality of pics being taken. There are loads of variables (shutter speed, focus, aperture, focal length, exposure etc) so similar rules apply as they do to real life. It's very, very easy to take a crap picture in Horizon. I've spent...
EB110 found earlier, with 80% discount and a Veyron engine swap it was an incredibly cheap way of reaching obscene speeds, 220 is my best speed camera effort, pesky traffic really hinders progress though.
Loving it so far, not sure if it will have the single player longevity of Forza 4 though, hopefully the Rally update will add some interesting time trials as I'm more of a hot-lap kinda guy.
All nicely put together, it seems to be throwing cars at me at an alarming rate (around 15 within 2hrs...
Potentially stupid question: if you rock up at a race with an appropriate car that has been upgraded too much (i.e. an A520 car for a B class race), how do you detune it? The only option I'm getting is to bizarrely spend money to buy different upgrades to get it up to the limit of the correct class.
Indeed, especially as I'm bored out of my mind off work sick (and missing my rearranged honeymoon), I figured I was due a bit of luck! Fingers crossed for tomorrow...
My only annoyance is from an upgrade perspective next Spring. I (and I assume many others) could afford to upgrade yearly because the depreciation on the outgoing model was so minimal. This will presumably be more of an issue next year.
You just need to be careful. I'm far from picky or a pixel peeper, but the Sigma 120-300 2.8 I owned was a dog, even after a full rebuild by Sigma themselves. The only connection issues I've had have been with Sigma lens. I've gone from being a big advocate of them, to being very cautious...
f2.8 in itself isn't that useful for panning etc, but generally speaking a fast bright lens will have better autofocus capabilities (and be sharper), and it opens up the option of adding teleconvertors for extra reach. I'm not sure I get what you mean regarding your photos becoming poor due to...
Fantastic thread with details on everything included/being released...

There are 6 all-new cars in the game (Abarth 500, Eagle Speedster, Infiniti G Coupe, Lancia Delta S4, S65 AMG, Mini Cooper, 205 Turbo 16), thankfully they are...
Sold my soul and ordered the LCE and Season Pass (which Game appeared to have honoured at £16), I feel dirty.
Loads of bonus cars lined up by the sounds of things, a bunch of them for reaching level 50 in Forza 3 or 4, an extra free car per month for Season pass bods, a car for playing in the...
A full expansion (that's clearly already finished) a few weeks after release, that stinks, in my opinion. I want to vote with my wallet, but knowing me I will cave.
17-40mm f4, 50mm 1.8, 100-400mm?
That would cover everything, 17-40mm for landscape and travel, 50mm for portraits, projects, walk around etc, 100-400mm for motorsport, wildlife etc.
After 6 years, 4 systems and about 30 lens I've concluded that less lens = good. 24-105mm f4 and 100-400mm is...
