I've been playing NHLPA 93 fairly consistently since it was released on my Mega Drive, my favourite game of all time. I dread to think how many hours I've put into it over 17 years.
Other than that GTR2 must be a comfortable second, if for no other reason than I've completed several 24hr races...
Not so sure about this, when starting out I personally found it beneficial to concentrate on a single shot. Scattering 3 or 4 shots in one pan isn't really teaching you anything. Even to this day I find it better to aim for one shot (and apart from anything else, it's far more rewarding).
No takers here? Arrived yesterday (£30 on Amazon), really impressed with it. By far the nearest thing to a proper rally game for those that are after that kind of thing. Handling and graphics have improved considerably since WRC 2.
The reviews, as always, are distinctly average, but dig deeper...
But the point is that this guy IS out doing it, seemingly all the time. A few shots around London are interesting, but this guy has taken thousands. As a collection it is far greater than the sum of its parts (and those parts are technically and compositionally rock solid).
I must have missed this, but no Porsche again? I thought they had sorted that out with EA/Porsche.
Also, longtail F1 GT but no standard car, for a road-based driving game. Weird.
Really nice, does the iPhone 5 have a panorama feature built in? Would love to see original/higher res versions of these, they look fantastic small but would they work as a print (for example)?
Looking good, two very minor nitpicky things that were immediately apparent though...the landscape page locks up on my iPad (and froze on the third pic on my Mac the first few times I visited), and on a extremely high res screen the photos look pretty soft (maybe down to compression?)
Great...
I bought a Hahnel Triad 30 Lite (about £30 on Amazon), pretty darn good for the money, I'm very impressed with it. A bit of a cliche but it really does feel like something that should be 3 or 4 times the price.
Amazing, must have taken some research to plan that! I've watched lots of docs about the Nazi Bell, interesting stuff.
Despite all the abandoned stuff my favourite is the industrial 'park', fantastic idea, how did that go through H&S regs?!
If Sim City 4 is anything to go by, you will need to be at least doubling the minimum spec to get anything like usable performance once you've got a large town.
Hugely impressed by the minute level of detail, but as a) I now own a Mac, and b) strongly disagree with always online, I won't be...
Fair play to the kid, 18 years old and has carved a nice niche for himself already, would be interested to know if he's earned much off of it (and what his day job is, I'm guessing student with lots of time on his hands)
Weirdly my favourite thing is finding his creatively placed watermark...
It would terrify and depress me in equal measure if I wrote down every piece of camera gear I've owned, as presumably it would comfortably outweigh the value of cars I've owned in the same timespan.
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
It shares the exact same body as the standard Clio, does it not? The accountants had a field day on this before Dieppe even got started, in my opinion.
NBA Jam - £45 was the cheapest I could find it on the Mega Drive. I wasn't as loaded as my mate, who spent £70 on Virtua Racing. The cart days were expensive, far more so than anything released these days, especially when you factor in inflation.
No chance in me buying all the extra tat, poverty spec version for me, no DLC, no season pass etc. I got burned by Forza 4 (about £100 spent, but I think I actually played it less than Race Pro, all in, and that only cost me £8).
Anyone getting this? Words cannot explain how awesome it looks, a throwback to the Dreamcast days if ever there was one.
