Done iPad 3 and iPhone 4 now. Weirdly it's more responsive on the iPhone.
Only issues I can see are my photos going horribly wrong, and my iPad claiming I have 170 unread emails all of a sudden (I don't!)
Some might say my photos actually look better in iOS7. They're there when you click them, they just don't have thumbnails.
Also, generally laggy as anything on my iPad 3. Even simple things like the keyboard are noticeably slower than before, and everything has a slight hesitation to it.
No media pass, would be far too close at Combe with my fixed prime lens anyway. Nikon D7000 and 300mm f4. Shutter Priority, anywhere between 1/30 and 1/160 for the shutter speeds.
Only dropped in for 3 hours, nice varied selection of stuff including a fair bit I've not seen at Combe before...

Have you considered a used Sigma 100-300mm f4 or Sigma 120-300 2.8? Whilst the 70-300L is apparently a fine lens, it's slow compared to what you're used to, and will sacrifice some AF speed. It's not really a tried and tested motorsport lens. Also, the IS is essentially irrelevant to motorsport...
Picked up a D7000 and 300mm f4 for motorsport yesterday, not really working out how I expected, focus seems very iffy. Got a couple of keepers though...

I built it up specifically as a light kit with my travels in mind with the hope it could do it all long term. My travels are pretty much done, it performed beautifully, but with the 55-200 self-destructing for the second time (waiting for a refund on that) I've no confidence in that lens now, so...
Fuji X stuff, so not excessive. I only used a 14mm and 35mm, shooting just with primes was brilliant. For New York in 8 weeks time I'm going to push it one further and just shoot with one lens.
Pretty good now, a few minor issues but really really chuffed that I managed to do everything (especially the bike ride) without falling apart. Very, very unfit (a bit fat, actually!) but got a bike on the way for my daily commute to sort that out.
Absolutely shattered now, mind!

We arrived back from the US of A on Saturday afternoon after spending the past two weeks out there. As some of you may know, we got married last April but 10 days before our honeymoon in July I was hospitalised with a very nasty heart virus, after a few close calls and another week in hospital...

Honeymoon - Las Vegas by Harry_S, on Flickr
Got them down to just under 300 eventually, still by far the most I've ever kept from a holiday.
It won't focus over 100mm and the barrel grinds a fair bit, exactly the same issue as my first one. I love the X-E1, telephoto aside it's my favourite camera full stop. I could, I guess, get a used D90 and 70-300 VR with the money from a lens refund (£600) and stick with the X-E1 for everything...
6 days into my 14 day honeymoon, my Fuji 55-200 dies...second one in a month, arrrrggghhhh!
Once this trip is over I'm seriously considering a D7100 as size will no longer be an issue. I love my Fuji with a passion, but I need a telephoto and I've completely lost confidence in it.
Rubbish, although to be honest it was never really suggested that it would be any good. I sold mine recently despite absolutely loving it, bought the 35mm 1.4 for my X-E1 with the proceeds, with the recent firmware updates it's now an acceptably speedy camera so it made sense for me to focus on...
Good prices there, if it was 3 weeks later (I'm off on my honeymoon) I would take the D90 and Sigma 100-300 at asking price all day long. Selling them anywhere else? Shouldn't have too many problems shifting it all, all popular items.
I would personally just buy a 50mm 1.8. A) It will get you used to using a prime, which is great for creativity, B) It's a very fast lens, so will introduce you to some serious depth of field control, and C) It's very cheap.
8 second exposure, started at 18mm, left it there for a second, then smoothly zoomed to 55mm and back to 18mm.
Last time I had the 5D, so this felt great with the little gear. I'm so, so close to only needing/wanting the X100 and not the X-E1/18-55/55-200 combo, I need some brave pills before I...
Spent the night in London on Thursday, stayed in County Hall so nice and close to the action. Walked the South Bank on Thursday night, then headed to the East Cemetery in Highgate on Friday morning (incredible place) before hitting the shops.
Most taken with the X100, handily my 55-200 for the...
Yep on Saturday, not far from me so seemed silly not to. Not really going to photograph though, will take the 55-200 for the occassional shot but more interested in enjoying it for what it is.
Traffic? Including 190 miles of driving I spent just under 4 hours in my car on Friday, straight in, straight out :) Only queue I had all day was waiting for the gates to open between 6:30 and 7am. The paddocks were lovely at 7am, so quiet.
The thread on PH amused me, people moaning about...
Very nice, non-rigged? This looks so much more natural than most stuff out there. A few little details let the side down a tiny bit...the reflection of the white camera car and the main subject being in the shadows. Really like it though.
