Re: My Inferno Orange 182 Project Thread - Fast Road/Occasional track day car....
No chance haha - they will be getting refurbed ready for summer coming and a nice new set of Hankook Evo Ventus V12's fitted
Was a cracking drive out and nice to meet you and your partner - still very jealous...
I use a Samsung NX11 - mixing between my 18-55 and 50-200 lense with polarising filters.
If I find the camera starts to limit what I want to do then I will be getting a Canon.
Well today I did around 400 miles picking up my GT25 conversion hardware and some new wheels as well.
On the way up to Fife I had the time to get some sunrise photos on the Lindesfarne Causeway of both the scenery and the very dirty Bean, I also got some pics at North Queensferry:

Re: My Inferno Orange 182 Project Thread - Fast Road/Occasional track day car....
Well it seems I cant help but buy parts these days.
With some help from Stu. I seemed to have obtained the hardware for a GT25 turbo conversion as well as yet another set of Speedline wheels, now 2108's to go...
Unless he has changed the rocker cover it is an ST170 engine - badged as a Duratec it is actually a 2.0 16v Zetec with vvti built in. This engine was only available on the ST170's though.
Re: My Inferno Orange 182 Project Thread - Fast Road/Occasional track day car....
Well a Christmas update - carbon time!
I bought these Carbon foglight blanks but not 100% on them when I tried them on the car - unfortunately I did forget to take a picture.
I have flattened them back a...
Think my XR4x4 was my favourite out of all my cars:
Wasn't fast or great handling but everytime you drove it I felt like I was driving something really special - god I miss it

Re: Jamie's inferno 182
I spoke to Andy last week about getting my Inferno in for one of these conversions - his work is superb.
Any idea on the power/torque its kicking out?
Rob
Can also vouch for the Scorpion SRN019 if keeping the cat on - deeper noise to the Milltek but I prefer the Millteks tone. It was a lot harder to get sitting properly though.
On my Titanium:
My Milltek - sits perfect and if combined with the Milltek decat means no silly centre flange as it uses a sleeve.
Tailpipes sit lovely as well:

I got rid of it last year and since last July have had the following as cant settle on a car:
- 172
- 182 Inferno
- 182 Titanium
- Ford Sierra XR4x4
- Ford Ka
- Nissan Micra DIG's
- Nissan Note
Currently saving for a house so down to one car and its a cheap one hence the Inferno.
Rob
Cheers for the comments - I can use any of the families cars when I want.
Impreza is a nice car and sounds lovely but I don't find it that quick but then again I was used to my old Focus

No spacers on at all - I will be looking at the PMS stud and nut kit but not sure on spacers - I have the Williams wheels and a set of Cup Turini's but there may be a change coming instead of the Turini's.
Re: My Inferno Orange 182 Project Thread - Fast Road/Occasional track day car....
Well I havent updated this for a short while.
Since the last update I ended up buying another 182 as it was only pennies. This was cleaned up and sold on for a profit.
The way it arrived:
And...
The Inferno has been long overdue a bath so took advantage of the dry weather and also got my Mam's Impreza cleaned up as that was looking filthy:

The G35 isn't a Nissan its part of the Infinity brand - there was a Nissan/Infinity crossover which ran a skyline badge but was actually a 350gt.
The R35 GTR's are just that and not a Skyline. The name was dropped when they built the new car.
Amazing noises in that videa.

When I picked it up:
As it stands now...
I like the Scorpion but love the Milltek now. Really taken with it now.
Got 2 182's as can't say no to cheap ones. I was hoping to get the girlfriend to have it but her heart is set on an Alfa
Rob
It can be an easy job or the biggest ball ache in the world.
I did a pair on my 182 yesterday - had to cut the nut/stud off the hub with a grinder as rust had got hold of it.
Then once it was free of the hub I used stilsons and an adjustable spanner to remove it from the steering rod.
There...
Well the Titanium is 99% complete now and after realising I really don't need 2 182's I will be selling it in the coming weeks.
Love the car and been using it for work and enjoying the noise - the scorpion exhaust has a meatier noise than the Milltek I have on my Inferno and makes a lovely...
