Well a slightly more horrendous list of jobs done today.
I got dent pulled out of the drivers door - isnt 100% perfect but is alot better.
Before:
After:
Also got the machine polisher and touch up paint out:
This has been touched in until I get someone to repaint it...
Am I right in assuming if I jack the passenger side right up in the air then when I remove the passenger side driveshaft it wont leak out?
Might be attempting to change the passenger driveshaft tomorrow that's all and haven't got that much time to do the job.
Any help/tips greatly appreciated...
ITG Maxogen - sounds nice but not over the top and actually feels like it works unlike the open cones.
V6 airbox sounds great but gains are minimal

Re: My Inferno Orange 182 Project Thread - Fast Road/Occasional track day car....
Had a visit to MB Motorsport today to get the Milltek catback exhaust and decat.
I had filled some standard exhaust hangers with silicon and rubber to make them last compared to the normal mounts.
Fitted this...
Only ever used my Focus ST on track - started as a daft laugh with some mates and ended up building quite a decent car out of it:
First trackday ever at Croft:
After a lot of progression at Silverstone:
Will be getting another ST once a house is purchases - awesome motors
Not checked the ABS rings yet - reason being is the fault can come on with the ignition and car doesn't need to move to see the fault. When my brothers Clio had faults with the ABS rings it only happened whilst driving.
Never heard about this direction sensor so will be something to look at...
Yeah its on Sportlines - seeing Andy on Saturday as getting all the brakes done and track rod ends. Haven't got the time to do both my 182's so Andy is a godsend being so near
ABS works when the lights are off but not when on.
Reluctor rings - the discs and pads were replaced last December and faults have only started appearing in the last 2 weeks.
I only got the car Saturday but have known it for 3 years when my mate had it
Rob
ESP, ABS & Service lights are all on together.
They are on 50:50 - were on when I drove the car home but not when I moved it on the night. Used it all day yesterday and were again on 50:50
I tried adjusting the brake light switch and the lights still came back on.
I quickly wanted to check...
The car has the following lights on altogether:

Might be a keeper - not sure yet - made a deal with my girlfriend: If she passes her theory test by end of January its hers - if not will be for sale.
It has a lot of potential - hardest bit is still to come though - the interior. Never seen as many dog hairs in my life haha
Its on 84k and came with T&T and cost only 3 figures after finding a load of change under the seat haha
It has had a few marks over time - mate of mine had it for 3 years and has never really cleaned it - just drove it then jet washed it at the local garage
Needs the interior doing next as...
Been looking at vacuum cleaners solely for the car.
I currently use a cheapish Phillips item but its not ideal - been looking at a Karcher WD 3.500 which seems very good and can get a refurbished one from Karcher for £59.
Anyone else got any suggestions or recommendations?
I don't want to...
Cheers for the comments - just been ordering the following ready to get the car sorted properly:
- Passenger driveshaft
- LED interior bulbs (glovebox, map, interior & boot)
- LED numberplate bulb
- Phillips silvervisions for rear
- Replacement passenger wing mirror
- Replacement numberplates
Well lots done today!
Started by polishing the headlights as they were horrendous, for this I used the Meguires kit but I bought a load of 1500 and 2500 grit wet and dry to make sure it was done properly.
Before:
After:
I then got the numberplates off ready for a full cleaning...
Some how I seem to have acquired another 182 - it is a 2005 (55 plate) 182 FF in Titanium. It was missing the splitter and lower grill due to a pheasant incident with the last owner - that was sorted in my first 5 minutes of ownership haha.
It needs work but couldn't turn it down - been using...
Cheers for the comments - already had a front grill sorted and a splitter so they are already done.
Just going to make a start on the car today and see how well it comes up.
I don't really know if its a keeper yet - my brother did show some interest in it but for the money I paid it was worth...
