Well another trip away with the Beany and tackled some cracking roads around Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
Car once again faultless after a lot of abuse but the brakes were squealing now and again. So once back I have got some new Brembo discs and pads (will change to DS2500 when I...
So since the sun was out this weekend the Clio and Twingo got cleaned yesterday.
Today I decided to get my replacement door fitted. This came from a full fat so no cup badge, I did get replacements sorted from @Darren61 so once quarter panel is repaired and painted I will get these new badges...
Well I am back again with another Clio.
Bought it in February and it has had a good history on Cliosport.net with Inferno being the first owner then Daniel before Jenic got it.
It came to me with 84k miles on the clock and all the bills and receipts for its life on the road.
This is my fifth...
Definitely doesn't get an easy life haha.
For an unmapped 182 with basic mods it still has pretty decent pace.
The front bumper will be going for repairs soon as the ducts have started cracking slightly. Will be getting them redone and a few other tweaks.
Started on some accident repairs...
So haven't been on here for abit, just after I did the last update someone decided to crash into my lovely little 182 Cup and caused me a lot of back grief.
Since then the Impreza was out of bounds as struggled with the seats and cage. Rightly or wrongly I decided to knock the car down a notch...
I was gutted but could have been worse and not being able to save it.
Still is nice on the drivers side lmao. Will be good when I get it straightened and painted
Yeah need the badges as getting damaged side repaired and repainted but want to keep cup badges

I used to run the standard VF35 but changed to a cheap TD05-20G which i haven't been impressed with.
The new turbo should live up to the hype though hahaha
Thanks!
Cheers!
Aiming for 420-440bhp at 1.5-1.6bar. Don't want to push for more as it's still standard internals.
You not want a VF35 with billet wheel - response is superb then with scope for 380-390bhp
Cheers, on all honesty im a bargain hunter so hadn't cost as much as people think
I actually ordered the SC42 but after waiting a month nothing turned up from USA to Scoobyclinic let alone to me.
Got me concerned that if I did have any problems with the 42 it could take months to sort.
Got a 2 year warranty on the MDX321T and it's the upgraded Motorsport spec
After having all the issues with the car sorted I managed to make my Croft race......
Finished third in class with 11th out of 67 overall which I was very happy with, the car is around 320-330bhp at a guess due to the turbo problems so I was around half the power of the Evo that came ahead 0.7...
Where to begin with an update??
Well a few happy updates.....
Seats are here and fully installed in fixed positions - love them!
Also knocked up a pair of rear door cards as a temp measure - don't look to horrific haha
Also had to replace yet another splitter as smashed it again hahaha...
That was in high 4's to 60, got it timed at 4.5 0-60 at full weight and 333bhp.
Now alot lighter and 371bhp. I am also alot lighter hahaha
Next what matey??
No fast forward haha. Will do an updated video soon when conditions improve.
Exedy pink box clutch kit with lightweight racing flywheel, braided hose line and dot 5.1 fluid.
Does smoke in reverse sometimes but isn't a bad clutch
Cheers!
Cheers, the Blouch turbos that Scoobyclinic sell are absolutely superb. Wouldn't go back to Scoobyclinic now for work but will happily use the mail order service for stuff like this.
