This month I have added loads of cleaning/detailing gear to my collection, already had 2 big boxes full and it just seems to keep spiralling :o
Cant wait for this weekend to try out some new wax I have bought as well, this month has seen me buy quite a lot of Valet Pro gear and some Obsession...
The weather is actually quite good for this time of year. I found the winter tyres were wearing quicker as the temperature wasn't cold enough to warrant them.
If it stays this mild you may regret the SORN haha
Bought them over new year haha - love them but will still be refurbishing them in gold again to get them mint.
Just had a UV filter on here for these shots
Cheers - I use a Samsung Nx11 with either a 18-55mm or 50-200mm lens. I use a remote shutter to cut down on vibrations as well.
Got the usual tripod and filters as well.
I completely agree haha
Cheers!
Tried my hand at taking some night time shots of the car as had a spare night.

Also got some of the scenery as well...
I do indeed, work on Maintenance in the Trim & Chassis shop but was on secondment to New Model last year. Hoping to get back on it in few months if possible.
Here's a reply from him when I was looking for some Trendlines, utter tosser. Even if I wanted to spend twice what there worth I wouldn't, as apparently they are out of my price range......
Dear **************,
sold out of this for £1450 we have another but probably out ov ur price range as...
I had initially planned to get them done the same shade of grey as the Williams wheels, gutted as even made custom centre caps for them haha
Coilover's I am looking at if I can find some decent second hand ones
Cheers - they should return for either track or winter
I was going for carbon mirrors initially but quite like the black mirrors - breaks up the colour on the car. Still think the carbon would be nicer though.
Just had a look on his thread and they are a nice colour. Will see what colours are available - going to see some colour samples next week
Well since I got a puncture in one of my snow tyres and found it isn't repairable as its on the shoulder I decided to get a nice new set of Hankook Evo Ventus V12's and fit them to my Speedlines I picked up over new year.
I was initially planning on going for anthracite but since I needed them...
Mounts, Turini's & turbo kit have all now sold, still getting the 2108's refurbed and put on so can keep the Williams wheels for winter with my snow tyres on
No matey - as said above the turbo kit is for sale and this time tomorrow should be with a new owner all being well.
Car is staying as a nippy fast road/everyday car for now until I have bought a house
I like the idea haha - yeah seem to have a chance on a cracking house if I can get the money together quick enough. Can always get another kit but its a shame as spent a good while parts sourcing.
Will definitely change the order next time - I thought it was other way :S
Out of curiosity what is the reason for the other way, I thought doing it this way would then mean any residue off tar/glue/fallout would be taken away. Mine will be done next week so will try that method then...
Well after asking for advice and suggestions on my last detailing thread I went away and ordered some more items and had the chance to try them on my brothers Arctic blue 182 which he picked up last weekend.

More bits gathered ready for the car progressing....
Vibratechnics engine & gearbox mounts:
Megane 225 NGK plugs:
All new stainless jubilee clips for the turbo kit:
Eibach front camber bolts:
Also the new front brakes will be disappearing in favour of something more manly...
I have a different bucket I use for wheels and never use the same water, wash mitt and brushes for paint and wheels.
If I am by myself I do normally clean wheels last but will start doing them first as suggested - if the girlfriend is there she does the wheels whilst I do the bodywork.
Cheers...
The centres are some Ebay jobbies with the backs sanded flat and then glued to the wheel - ran them for a month or so before taking them off.
The tyres are Vredestein Snowtrac 3's in 195/50/15. Used them last winter on my Ka I had for the daily and got to some places I wouldn't have without...
Tyres? Have you ran these ones over winter - absolutely immense in snow, standing water, and slush. Run them between November and Feb/March depending on weather.
I have centre caps ;) Just prefer the look without them haha
