That needs a name and shame
I understand things happen etc but even specialist or not, if you had just got the car, then the seller should of at least tried not to f**king kill you or someone else
I've seen a couple of Renault Sports while passing through Plymouth recently. A silver Twingo being one. Had the number plate area in black and wasn't sure if it was your one or not but no private plate on.
What cars attend locally as don't use Facebook
I have a set of new ABS rings from my new rear Renault OE discs which I removed as they went on my Cup so weren't needed anyway
If you decide to go with the Brembos let me know and cover the postage. Bearings however I cannot help you with but no real issue for someone to press in
Nope, it's deteriorating :(
On the plus side, applied for planning permission for chucking a garage / workshop on the back of the house and it's been accepted  This will be 5's ultimate chance if it happens
The Cup is more demanding than the mortgage at the moment!
PH1's have holes for the Renault badge and the Clio badge
If your PH2 then no probs. The holes are only plastic lug locators not into the the boot itself so don't worry

Is it me, or does it still look just as awesome today ?!
Nice photo find pal!
I guess I ended up with a "White Clio 16v" in the end though lol
Around the time I first joined the forum, maybe 10+ years ago @midge was selling a white valver and at the time I really really wanted it but didn't have a penny to give!
Can see still picture it now, had super turismo's on IIRC
I have a MK1 as a daily while I'm doing repairs on the Cup.
First thing I noticed was the turning circle was like a taxi in compassion to the MK2! Paid £200 for it, with a plan to tidy it up and sell on when I had finished with it after a month or so.
It's now been almost 6 months, and it...
If this one doesn't work out then im sure another will come along for a good price, and you'll have a shed load of spares.
However if the cat c issue isnt anything major to the structure or strength of the car then all sounds good in the plans department!
Photo is ok here? I uploaded it on here? Try a refresh of the page.
Strangely after heating everything, the compensator clicked and now moves freely, which in turn has got the spring working very well and feeling smooth and springy. But the inside bit itself is still sticky and whole thing...
I have the compensator off the car, the magic of a blowtorch! @npt you weren't wrong.
This was with some multi-gas mostly butane, had my doubts not using mapp gas.
I've now contacted @George@RTR_Parts again as the small brake lines, brackets, bolts, and mostly everything in the photo...
Looking great for this time of year!
I want new headlights after looking at those, my car amplifies any deterioration being white, they can easily look yellow-ish without looking after them :(
I see your oil change looks cleaner this time around ;)
