Ha.. !
Get them to tuck it in tight to the bumper too as most of them seem to poke out and cause a trip hazard tbh (Only from what I've seen!)
Make sure its straight too!
I shouldn't honestly think a specialist place would charge much, as it's only an adjustment etc. Just make sure they are...
AMG lol
You could look out for some 16v bits, however I think these maybe quite hard to find now.
Here's a 16v kit
But don't be leaving it like this...
Alternatively, what about just a set of multi spokes?
IMO your to-do list should be:
New plain number plates
Remove all...
I have a MK1 Clio as my runaround, it's also a 1.4
Please don't waste your money on the engine trying to make it faster. It never will be.
Instead, the few hundred pounds you would spend on these parts to be a 'road rally car' as stated in your other post, put towards another car if you want...
@Russ Rallye just got round to watching. great clip!
09:00 to 10:00 was a great battle lap! some sketchy bits too!
those two cars look great fun together too!
You'll find all your answers on here pal
Best way I find things if I need to, is go onto Google and type: cliosport 'whatever your looking for'
Anyway nice to see you getting stuck in. I would just drive it and see how you get on as generally it will always demand fixing at some stage anyway...
Scene points... When did we get onto VAG fag lol
I wouldn't spend a penny on it, just sell it on after you get bored of it, as with ARB, strut brace etc I still don't think you will get much out of it without continuing on spending out on repairs and worn out bits which goes on and on and costs...
Amen, the joy of the untouched parts of a road car. The worst mechanical part of the car by a mile! All needs binning!
Hundreds pal, link to the thread is in my profile but it goes back a fair while... time flies and its very out of date now from the work in past few months.
just takes so...
Wow thanks for the comprehensive post @Killer Sound !
I'm pretty much sold on the valve not operating as it should. @George@RTR_Parts has me sorted, and I hope this sort the fluid bleeding being slower on the hot disc side! Thankfully I don't need to use the car so hasn't been driven on anymore...
See my thread in this section pal...
Going through a similar issue now!
I would like to know how they got on with removing the brake lines from the old compensator... mine are proving to be a nightmare 😧
The arm moves but stays wherever you leave it. Very tough and doesn't look great, so doubt it will last.
The bolt has probably been there for years, I certainly haven't touched it in 3 years, so maybe a garage did it for an MOT...
Thanks Tom - Once this is done I might update my thread... it's...
I don't usually go much on track day videos but that was brilliant lol
Loved the start and the 2:03 wing mirror and doors flapping but still not changing the pace!
I'm not sure I would want to be in the car chasing that RX7, ridiculously close but awesome!
Lovely car Tony
