Yep. @Sir_Dave and i used it on his old track car years ago. Set to -2.5' or whatever it was. Hunter checked a few weeks later and was impressed with the results!

Or anything already suited to using RWD would be a much better start. From there, it's as simple as getting a box to fit, prop shaft to meet the Vee's diff. Mounting the engine. Wiring it all up. Controlling it with standalone most likely.

Although any mention of a K-tec/GDi combination on an ITB'd car and i'd be going over it with a very critical eye, knowing what to look for. And making sure it's got a reputable filter on it.

You'll do just fine from the insurance if you play hardball though. You need to be able to replace your example with one that's of equal condition - fight for that.
