Not on the same vehicle, but i've had RSR's on a Clio, and would use again. not sure if they've fixed the tread split issue that scares everyone or not.. Supersports on the M3 are epic though. Wet grip is the difference IMO.

Immobiliser light should go out after a few seconds.

I remember it being something like being inside the car, lock the car, then unlock it. Put key in ignition on number 2 for 30 seconds. Remove key. Lock car, unlock car.

If the immobiliser light isn't going out, there's your problem. Got a spare key? Try that. Earths - there's another one over the back of the box that is easily missed.

Sounds stupid, but battery? Check the earths. Check all the sensors on the engine are plugged in. Then do the usual, fuel, spark compression checks.

Change the breather plate from the top of the engines over, use your 182 upper inlet. Done. Ten mins work.

This. I can have an engine and box out in two hours with a crane. Putting back takes a bit longer obvs, but do-able in a weekend taking it relatively easy if you know what you're doing.

Ouch. Worst case, find a decent breaker on here, and get both the engine and box from it. £500 in parts.

Yep, as above. Wheels ruin that. On mint Turinis or 2118's, that's a £3500 car all day long if the condition is good.,

Stick to genuine mate. The aftermarket ones are rubbish. Second hand one off here from a breaker should be £80-120. That said, i'd be taking that to an exhaust place and getting them to repair it.

Yeah, that's not OEM, someone's replaced it at some point. They sometimes melt, so no big deal.

You 100% need matching decent tyres all round.

Black breather pipe goes from inlet elbow to cam cover. Blue one is a vac pipe from the inlet to the brake servo.

2002 is 99% Ph2 172. Way to define, is headlight shape. Ph1 is round headlights, Ph2 is triangle
