I tried disconnecting CTS sensor it's not triggering the fan. Also tried another set of relays which are new so will have to test wiring and also bridge just to rule out the relays. Its could be an ecu signal issue.
Yeah I don't have clip. The fan works if I directly give it 12v. The relays that were in the car were quite new but weren't renault ones. Do If I disconnect the sensor while running or before I start the car ?
What the best way to do this ?
Found out my rad fan doesnt operate while it was at birchdow.
I want to run a switch to it for now until I can figure it out. If put 12v directly to it its fine. Tried swapping the relays to see if it was this but the same so possibly a break in the wiring...
Car went to birchdown on Monday for a fresh cambelt and water pump and keyway Crank pulley fitting ready for mapping.
I fitted a fresh set of injectors and spark plugs.
Fresh injectors fitted.
Inlet removed for spark plug replacement.
All done ready for mapping.
More interior going in, hoping this will make the car more useable over winter and a little warmer.
Handbrake coverfitted.
I need to get the foam piece which sits over the gearstick.
What's people's opinions who have been down this road. Mate said it's crying out for spacers which I agree.
I see people saying over 10mm ruins handling. I can purchase 10mm rear stub axle kit from pms but do I go 10mm slip on or 18mm from PMS for front ?
Also what is the issue with turninis...
Started putting interior in today ! Needs to be a bit more winter friendly.
Shocks sorted with KW bumpstops of my old rears.
K brace powder coated to match cage.
Test fit , holes need enlarging slightly on k-brace.
I sorted them in the end. I removed the boot and Bumpstop of the kw rears and all went together fine. I was struggling with the oem Renault ones so not sure if they are compatible or not.
Started on rebuilding my suspension. I have new koni rear as one of my KW rears adjusters had seized.
Struggled with the koni rears fitments and the topmounts. It was dark and couldn't see the thread when the rubbers topmounts are in place. I think it's the lack of weight on the rear end ...
Picked up my roll cage this afternoon from powder coat along with my springs and k brace !
Only temp fitted in to get back home, had to remove seat and will to get back in but not too bad !
Decided on white for the cage in the end.
Anyone else struggle fitting them ? Fitted the boot and bumpstop from the old suspension but struggling to get enough of the shaft and thread to get nut on.
I may have to get my dad to sit on rear tomoz to get some more weight in the back.
These are replacing the koni kw rears so may have to...
Yeah still got Fragile wrapping on it, was going to leave it like that. Still loads to sort and put some interior in it. Just been doing afew miles in it while i wait for renault to pull there fingers out
