If your car has no speed sensor on the gearbox then no, there will be no difference apart from the bolted diff rather than the circlip one. Think mark told me once there 2 types if diff bearing aswell

Lift your bonnet and see if you auxilery belt is still there. Its definitely the outer casing of a bearing it's just which one

Is your battery light on? If it is your belt then there will be no power steering, no water pump, no alternator.
