Going well it seems and very cheap car for the amount of fun your having. Just a quick one though, if box is coming out and getting split for a freshen up have you though of putting a diff in? Best value for money mod in my opinion and will sort out you under steering so you can get on the...
I had been given a cup roof scoop when I bought the car and figured now was a good time to fit it.
I measured up and marked where I was happy with it sitting.
I drilled the 4 holes and bolted the inner and outer together.
Piece of cake, I then used my cone drill bits to drill through the roof...
As you can imagine I was gutted.
All that hard work destroyed and more damage created to fix onto of the ruined bonnet.
But.... luckily with me being in the trade I could fix it myself, so I brushed myself off, picked up my pride and put it back in my pocket and cracked on.
So the guy who I...
If your car has no speed sensor on the gearbox then no, there will be no difference apart from the bolted diff rather than the circlip one. Think mark told me once there 2 types if diff bearing aswell
Its burnt though the laquer and base coat down to another layer of laquer. So its definitely been painted in the past.
At first glance it looked like a repair that had bled through the paint or not enough base coat to cover the repair but its 99% a burn mark. Get it resprayed. It wont break the...

So now I had a good running engine, fully serviced and tuned up i figured i should finish off the front end and build it up.
I machine polished the headlights and wings so they shined like the fresh painted bonnet and bumper. Painted the front diamond gloss black and did the usual black decal...
Right so we were ready for EFI.
Set off on a fresh Sunday morning at 5.30am to get to Runcorn for 10am ish.
Nice run from north yorkshire and we got there to the sound of an EP3 turbo'd civic running 450bhp screaming its tits off!! Spooling and chattering. Thought it was going to pull the...
I think these guys are right. If you look at your very 1st post of the 3 pictures.
The 3rd picture where you stood the item up you can clearly see most of the outer surface is worn except that top edge like 4mm of it is still untouched
Eventually the freak storm subsided after about 20 minutes and we dried ourselves of whilst having a brew and carried on.
Managed to get it all built back up and hear it running with the new timing sounding very lumpy.
So I raised the idle from 650rpm upto 950 and it idled alot...
