You need to leave the sensor connected otherwise it will bring a light up on the dash.
As for the piping, you can take the bit right off that goes to the manifold and seal it up at the manifold( I used a sleeve and a tip tie)
and the other pipe goes back to the tank you will need to blank off...

So you would think that a trophy would be the heaviest on insurance. Obviously each insurer is different though.
In the non sports they do have the correct type of damper/hub like you to work. Not sure if their the same size as the mk2 sports though. Have you had a look around eBay, google etc?
He's got that 60mpg on the screen by resetting it whilst driving along at a steady pace, as soon as he starts having to brake for junctions etc it will drop.
No it's the engine and gearing as well that plays a part of the mpg.
I don't find it as bad as everyone makes out, I've had two 182's, an R26 and this 197, and they all seem to give about 100 miles to £20.
