Alright Nick!
Well ive got a good deal on the Compomotives, 17 x 8" with an offset of 15, so thatll move them out a fair bit, then i can always use up to a 5mm Spacer if i need to on the rear!
Do you think this will be about right? Im going to get the body work sorted first, then see how...
Yeah right......that would be nice.
Anyone know what the fog lights are on the front? The kit didnt come with any, i think theyre off a Megane, but i cant be sure!!!
Car will be going into the body shop shortly, then in a weeks time im going to have to finally decide on wheels - and offsets etc......
In the mean time - heres a couple of pics, just ignore the disgusting Yellow and Blue paint etc...
16v Engine would need a lot of work to get 200BHP, youd be better going for the 1.7 GTX Renault 5 Lump, with a Turbo on it - go to www.ddautosports.co.uk and send Danny a mail - asking if they can do it, and for prices etc. He can build you a complete R5 GTT with low mileage, 200+ BHP for...
Im keeping my car Silver - cant afford to get roof, bonnet - engine bay etc all resprayed, so im keeping it as it is - it should still look pretty sweet though.....
Does anyone know if i need wheel spacers or different wheels? Ive been told itll be alright, as the standard arches will still...
I bought them 2nd Hand, they are kerbed on the edges, but nothing too bad - you can see the top left of the pic, but this is the Front left wheel - so bound to get a bit of a beating...
I had my 306 TD tuned by Van Aaken - DONT GO THERE, Believe me, they snapped one of my Bonnet Hinges, dented the Wing loads where the were leaning in, and to be honest, there was hardly any difference with my cars performance, and it cost me £300! Supposedly took it from 92bhp to 110 with loads...
I recently put on EBC Turbogroove Discs, and Greenstuff Pads - theyre a lot better than standard, but from 60MPH + - They make horrible noises when braking, it sounds awful, especially if you brake hard, but they still work ok, and look cool too...
Ive just ordered this body kit, new front and rear bumpers, wider wings, side skirts etc.....should be pretty cool hey??
Would you say £1000 is a good price to fit and Paint this kit?
See pic attached, has anyone got any detailed pics of a car fitted with this kit? This is the only...
Just bought one, its being painted tonight - but how do i fit it on my 16v?? Does that big rubber strip thats on there at the moment need to come off? Is this easy to do etc?? Please advise as i want to try and fit it tomorrow!
Cheers guys.
Piperx on my 16v was WELL loud, but then it was Huge - if yours is just a 1.2, i dont really know what it should be like, but i would think it would still be quite loud??

Well, - first of all is to modify the bonnet, it would need to be done really well so that when the flap is down - its not obvious its even there....
Then under it - you would have a sort of Hydraulic Pillar, that when activated - lifts the flap up, so almost like the Ferrari/Porsche...
Well im sure if enough people put their heads together - there would be an easy way to get it to work?!? It would just need a popper under it or something that when you pressed the button, opened it, then closed when you pressed it again - im really keen on the idea, but again - it could look a...
What about a small flap cut out of the bonnet (professionally done) with an in car button, that lifts it up when you press it - so that if its dry, or something - you can just pop it open to give a nice cool air inlet straight into the filter?!? May look odd, but i reckon itd be well effective...
