    Cylinder Head

WONGY! Did you tell your insurance people about this? How do they like that? Do you think youre shortening the life of the engine by having work like that done to it? Mail me if youd rather not say anything on here - nick.goodall@qassocitaes.co.uk Cheers

An Idea for Cold Air Feed - Clio 16v

Ive just been thinking - what about getting some of those "cool-louvres" stamped into the front corner (passenger side) of the bonnet, where the induction Kit sits?? Surely this would be a good idea to get Cold Air circulating around the Filter?? Any reasons why this wouldnt work?? Was...

Clio 16v Question - cold air feed

I doubt ill be there - its so far for me! However, knocking that plate out was dead easy, i just wedged a screw driver down the side of it, and then got another one in the other side and it just popped out! How do you get the air feed from there, up to the induction kit - Someone MUST know...

Can i lower my 16v with 17 wheels on

Will taking out the sh*tguards let mud/water etc get in and rust through though?? So nick, what 18"s did you go for anyway???
  22. nickg123

Can i lower my 16v with 17 wheels on

Well, i want to lower my 16v by 30-35mm. Im just going to replace the front springs, and get someone to adjust the torsion bar - but does anyone know if it will rub being lowered?? Its fine at the moment except on full lock they catch on the inner guards but apart from that its fine!
  23. nickg123

I need to make a final decision - Exhausts.

  25. nickg123

I need to make a final decision - Exhausts.

I either drive up to St Albans to get a Full Powerflow System, with a de-cat pipe - Single 3-4 Inch tail pipe (might go for twin exit) Or i drive up to Derbyshire and have a Cat-back Magnex System fitted by Nick Hill. What would you do??????????????

Removal of Side Stips (Phase 1 16v)

So do you have to unscrew them first before trying to remove them? Where is the screw??
  27. nickg123

    Bad idea

You need new Rear Bearings if youre replacing the disks - youll wreck the old ones trying to get them out - apart from that its not a hard job!
  28. nickg123

Removal of Side Stips (Phase 1 16v)

I am going to get my plastic side srips painted at the weekend, but i need to remove them to be able to do this. Do you know if they just pull straight off, or is there screws holding them on etc? My car is the phase 1 16v, so theyre the thinner ones that stick out more? Thanks a lot.

    Rear Spoiler

Well, i bought the paint for mine - £20 plus you need Primer, Lacquer and i paid a bloke £30 to paint it, then me and my Dad fitted it - was fairly easy actually!
