tbh, i can see why you like the orange splitter it does catch your eye. even if it is a little bit of slap in your face :) but you got a good looking car there imo. have you found doing all this has racked your insurance up alot? im 18 with a 1.2 that needs something doing to it haha
after spending 10 minutes on the phone to india trying to explain to my insurance company that I didnt want to add another car to the policy but instead wanted a quote for lowering they said £60, dont know if that helps or not!
Re: Opinions on 1.2 16v clio's
my mate had a classic mini and in your situation he decided to put a motorbike engine in it i think. Turned it into a right pocket rocket haha
Re: Opinions on 1.2 16v clio's
im looking to put springs on mine as I cant seem to find coilovers under like £300 and I cant justify spending that much on one mod on a 1.2. but then again im earning jack s**t :P
Re: Opinions on 1.2 16v clio's
go for it :) though I doubt it'll be like your mini round corners! also put some money aside for speakers. you dont get any in the back with 1.2's :l
Re: Opinions on 1.2 16v clio's
I got one, and tbh I think its all good. compared to other 1.2's in quick, polo's etc. Done a few trips to wales and back and its fine tapping along at 80. also it only sips petrol when on long trips on dual carriageways and motorwarys. around corners its great...
eye lashes on lights. also slightly weird one, but why do people have baby on board signs? I dont go out to ram into someone then see that baby on board sign and ram someone else...
Going to fit some speakers to the back of my clio. seeing as clios dont have any speakers in the back to start with what tools/tips do I need? if anyone could put together like a guide i'd appreciate it!
