The wheels look nice , what are they ? they look nice n light. The 2118's I had were very heavy.
It looks like the "Northern" clubs are looking to move to 1b tyres next year so these VR2 will be on my list. That is unless they move them to 1c as I saw your thread on uphillracers !
Depends on how much you wish to spend to be competitive? I've run in modified for years but this year have run in the Standard SB class by the time I had refreshed all the suspension and engine mounts, servicing and tyres it soon mounts up.
Can I tell I am 1-2 seconds slower from in the car ...
If your in road modified wipers,fogs radio etc have to stay and work. I also think battery relocation is a no as I think they had issues at Harewood at the beginning of this season @bashracing
You can fit a race battery in the standard position anyway.

I thought you were just putting it back together so it would be easier to move assembled rather than in boxes , didn't realise it's a full on race car !

Very good comparison as you would have thought the top car would be quicker from the start than the standard car.
I have found my standard cup is as quick as my modified car from a few years ago.l think that a fully refreshed car brings great results for little outlay compared to modified.

He's already got an Xbox one that's why I can't understand why he wants a pc I've already told him that a cheap one will not play decent games.
