Something is damaged. Wishbone, subframe, track rod/end, strut, wheel. Does it have a diff? Did the steering wheel go off centre after the knock?

How are your track rod inners and outers? And wishbone lower ball joints? If the ball joints are worn the tracking may be hard to get right, and you'll have play in steering.

Oh, and another thing. Those Advan AD08's have a softer sidewall than I am used too it seems, so that does not help.

I have KW V2's on my Williams, damper hand height adjustable, with slot for camber adjustment too. They come with helper springs. Whilst these are nice and all for pootling about, I find they give too much initial 'play' in quick corners, so it roles too much. With previous suspension...

Ph1 172 is a good way to go. Can get Williams's for that money but you will spend the same again usually getting them reliable. My N/A Williams is at 222+ bhp now but I know I would never get back the money I've spent if I sold it, so I am just enjoying it and will keep.

The F4R is not a bored out F7P engine, and neither is the 2.0L F7R engine. The F4R is a different engine, just with a similarities to a couple of the F7R variants. If you know what you are doing, a stripped Mk1 Clio Valver with an F4R engine conversion is quite a good way to go. Power to...

What's been done to it is not un-doable. Even with diagnosing a poorly bottom end, its a mental road machine. The level of grip with reasonably sticky R1R tyres and the mechanical LSD sometimes just blows me away. It's quieter now than it was but the pops, bangs and crackles are amazingly...

Same with mine, and you know how low/solid mine is set up to be. Was on hit tyres too. Next year I will have some specialist snow ones on my spare set of Willy alloys, or I may just leave the R1R's on ;)
