No idea mate.
Also, I enjoy all the 'wanna be different' esque none sense about any scene.
If you want to be different, buy a Volvo estate and drive sensibly, that would make a refreshing change.
There is nothing 'different' about this, just the same as there wasn't anything 'different' or...
Also, no one suggested he should pay £5K, no where near it in fact, just that it would be foolish to assume that anything less than the price stated would need money spending on it.
No one is disputing anything about the car.
He gave it billy big b****cks that he had done the impossible. No one has disputed that the car looks good AFAIK, and no one has really said anything negative.
The point of contention is that with the work that is needed, the price goes up to or...
They're not hugely intrusive mate.
That's mine, as I say, just a budget range Onkyo, nothing with bells and whistles.
You appreciate it hugely over an out of the box type system.
I fully don't understand why someone would want to drive a car that:
A - Looks broken
B - Seemingly can't be driven at all, let alone well
I saw some abortion of a Civic near Reading with 'stance'. Loads of people in track suits were taking pictures of it, which speaks volumes IMO.
So in summary:
Lad asks how much for a straight example of a 182?
Lad gets told it's £xxxx to have one that is likely to be hassle free?
Lad can't afford £xxxx, but instead of saving up, buys a car for £yyyy, which needs £zzz spent on it, taking it to around or above the £xxxx price everyone...
Never had any issues personally, with either cheap ones or official ones.
I have a couple that get carted round in bags and a couple that stay in the same place all the time, not had any problems.
If you get a semi decent AV amp, you'll be able to run it on a secondary channel on 2.1, then when you move / want to go 5.1, you can just buy the additional speakers and run it on the 5.1 channel.
As I say, if you chat to RS, they'll be able to talk you through it.
No experience of sound bars...
Check out a Richer Sounds near you, they should be able to sort you out a decent budget AV amp and speaker set I would expect.
Or if not, will have 1 box surround sound systems.
Very good service IME, plus they know what they're on about and are very competitively priced.
I don't know anyone in the last few years who's premium didn't go up as a direct result of a none fault claim.
It's a bit of a piss take really.
Mine went up because someone reversed into the side of a hire car I was in.
How so?
It is a discount on your premium.
75% off £2,000 is better than 0% off £2,000.
Unless I'm mistaken, which one of the resident insurance bods will confirm?
Easiest way to check would be to do a quote with the exact same circumstances just adding NCB to one.
None fault claim shouldn't effect NCB, should it?
Unfortunately the premium thing is unavoidable these days.
I imagine Alan is on protected NCB as well.
Love it.
Have something similar for my Focus.
I may have to steal your graphs though.
Oh, and my fuel is estimated not actual due to filling up twice a week.
