I don't get it?
Feirny - I honestly can't fault them in my dealings with them so far, so definitely give them a call.
The only problem I did find was finding a bloody number to phone them on within their "contact us" part of the website, which seems to do everything it can to deter you from...

I signed up to BT about 4 months ago, and all has been well until a couple of weeks ago, when the speed dramatically dropped to the point where I can't even stream video on YT. Download speed is 0.4MBPS.
In fairness to BT, they have been very good so far, phoned back when they said they would...
My misunderstanding.
I think I actually asked questions, I didn't say you couldn't make money, I asked how it was possible with the amount of work that must be needed.
But thanks for your input.
Unless you're doing this for next to nothing (or your boss is), how can there be any value in repairing something like that?
I could kind of understand it if it were a high value car, but that's not really worth that much surely, even if it were a straight up car?
4 - Doesn't affect no claims with any company I know of, but I'm sure when I was looking at insurance last, it said something about windscreen claims in the claims section. If it has any effect on the premium, I'm sure it would be minimal.
Evening all,
The lid on my Dell Lap top has gone 'loose'. It's as if there is a screw (or 2) missing, so the lid doesn't fix in one place. The sides of the lid also bow out a bit.
Is anyone able to have a look at it for me. As I have said a few times on here, I am completely inept with...
As I say, it's all based on stats, so travelling sales man have less (or less serious) claims than none travelling.
I agree though, it doesn't always seemt o make sense.
We just have to pay it.
Not helped by all the fronting / not bothering that happens no doubt.
Probably been a spate of garage burglaries in your area or something, which resulted in cars being damaged, so the % of cars damaged in garages increased above cars damaged on the street in your area.
Once you're over 23 / 24 and start getting up above 5 years NCB, it all comes down to post code and changes in the market.
Mine went up £200 because I moved house, lol.
I didn't see any options to tick / untick. Just downloaded the zip file, opened and opened the exe file to install, and it installed everything.
Didn't realise until a couple of hours later when I opened up IE.
I downloaded Format Factory, but it's full of bloody add-ons like ask jeeves tool bars etc.
It was also taking an absolute age to rip anything so I gave up and uninstalled it, along with everything else it had decided to install. Will try again when I have a bit more patience.
How long...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Hopefully be able to pick up a cheap 3GS until my contract is up in November and I can FINALLY have an iPhone.
Presuming I can run it on my current sim, guess I'll just have to watch the net usage as I'm limited to 500MB free on...
+1
My old 1.2 Clio went up to 140K (100K of it by me) with nothing more than routine servicing and a few consumables (wheel bearing, exhaust and battery iirc), but original gear box, clutch and engine.
On the other hand, the most unreliable car I've owned was a 'bullet proof' Passat.
It's...
This is one of the main reasons I will be buying more Apple products in the future. The customer experience when using them is just lightyears ahead of other computer makers / retailers that I have had experience with, and up there with the biggest and most respected names on the high street...
I know - that's kind of my point. It wouldn't replace anything, so seems like a hell of a lot of money for something that wouldn't take away the need for something else.
I just don't get why someone would want it - other than 'just because' it's an Apple product.
As I say, I'm not...
I'm not a techy kind of person, but I do like the Apple products that I have. It took me a hell of a long time to get an iPod, more due to my Creative MP3 player lasting forever than being anti Apple. As I say, I like Apple products, will probably get a MBP when I need a new lap top and will...
That explains that then.
I was going to post that if it was a rep, it was a very good one. And it was a LY, TBH, I'm out of touch with what paint is what with Clio's.
Looked very smart mate, I just drove past it on my way to the petrol station.
Parked in the middle of Tesco's car park.
Saw it as I was getting petrol.
Looked very smart. One of only a handful of V6's I've ever seen on the road.
The only other yellow V6 was at Lakeside in Essex.
We went to the Orange shop today, the guy said because it was ordered on-line, they couldn't do anything as they were sepeate entities.
Tried it before with Orange, it gets you nowhere.
The best thing in my experience, is to send a massive letter detailing every conversation date and time...
Went into the Orange shop, apparently they're not able to give out new sim cards. So ended up on the phone to customer services getting transferred between Orange, who seemed completely unwilling to do anything and Apple who couldn't understand why Orange wouldn't send out a new sim card.
Got...
