Hopefully will be alright.
Talk Talk have been awful at the minute, it's dropping connection every 20 minutes or so.
One big thing that made us go with BT was free to call 0845 and 0870, I'm spending about £15 a month on my mobile at the minute to get a seperate issue solved.
Just signed up with BT.
We would have needed a BT line anyway, so that was gonna be £12 p/month, think it's £19 p/month for the 1st 3 months and £25 there after all in.
Only 10GB usage, but with not really down loading anything massive other than the odd few albums from iTunes, it shouldn't...
Looking at changing ISP as we're with Talk Talk and it is horrificly bad. It's cheap, but I'm sick and tired of it fcuking up, so thinking of moving.
My question:
What is standard usage for say, email and general browsing, odd bit of downloading and streaming via youtube / iplayer.
I know...
Sorry, I skipped the first page this time so was a bit out of the loop.
I would be even more interested in the pay back period that way round, lol. What's the annual saving in tax? Couple of hundred quid?
Well, this escalted.
I stand by my crack smoking remark.
If anyone can be arsed, I'd be interested in the pay back period of putting a diesel engine and the bits and bobs that go along with it in a sport. I amgine it runs into more than a couple of years.
Lol, I think mine was the day after it came into force, end of March 2007?
Stopped at a red light, hand brake on, put my phone to my ear and said "I'll call you back", as I said "back", a police car pulled up to the red light on the opposite side of the road.
I didn't have a problem with the...
I got caught using my mobile at a red light, told the insurance company once I got the licence back with the points on it.
No difference to the policy at the time, and iirc it still went down at renewal.
Yeah, I'm with you now.
But effectively, if it has been repaired properley through insurance (like it or not everyone) it is worth the same as if it were perfect - particularly if you don't know.
That makes it even harder.
In future, always pay on a CC. Even if it only 10% of the value, can give you an extra level of protection.
As I say, I wish you all the best in getting your money back or a replacement car, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
Then, if you do get stuck with the...
Well done on sorting it out mate.
As said though - Never buy a car from a dealer without putting some / all of it on a CC, either using an interest free on purchases kind of deal, or pay it straight off.
Means you have a degree of protection.
As much as you may deserve to get your money back, you may find it harder than you think, be prepared for a very long and drawn out process.
This is one of the reasons I would NEVER again buy from a trader operating from their house. If you're buying from an independant, you want someone who...
It didn't work for Survivors which is what I watched earlier on.
With Blu rays, it only works when set to DTS in the sound menu.
Does it need to bet set to the none DTS 5.1 to work with iPlayer? Or does iPlayer not support 5.1?
I've just been using the iPlayer on the PS3, and have that through an optical to my DVD player + surround, but haven't got 5.1.
Is it possible to get 5.1 using iPlayer through PS3?
When I use it for Blu Rays, 5.1 set to DTS it's fine, get 5.1.
Any ideas?
I got that one from PC world, sure it was only £50 though, was just after Christmas, so don't know if it was on sale.
I transfered about 20GB onto it last night and it took about 10 minutes. My lap top is as old as time itself though, so not sure if that effected it.
It did it a couple of weeks ago, but now it is having none of it.
It doesn't give me any error messages, other than it couldn't sync.
Any suggestions on what's up?
The only thing I can think of, is that I have started using Outlook connector with hotmail, which is the only thing I can...

Best head phones by a country mile for the money in my experience.
I bought some of these out in the states...
W995 is ok as a basic phone, and has a pretty good camera.
Compared to the BB's and iPhones for email / web, it's sh1t.
I like it cos it texts and makes calls easily, if you're looking for anything more than that, it's sh1t.
Can someone help me set up my hotmail account to run with Outlook.
I have tried doing it through Tools - Email Accounts - Add new account.
But it isn't letting me, every time I set it up and try and check my email, it says that access to the account was denied, check my username and...
I've used a couple, I personally find Tom Tom to be the best for me.
That basic one looks spot on, I very rarely use any of the features on a Tom Tom 1, never mind the more complex ones.
