Just an overview really, basic set ups etc. Have had a look on AV forums but couldn't find the sort of thing I was after.

Does anyone have a link to any sites which have a decent idiots guide to AV set ups? I have a basic understanding, but want to get a bit more knowledge, but preferably somewhere that doesn't talk exclusively in technical terms. Any help appreciated.

Best I have used. had them for ages now and not had an issue, been carted around in the bottom of bags and what have you and still work perfectly.

So they're gonna creep the price up a small amount at a time so that no one has the option to opt out? Oh well, I'll re-new, best deal available with Orange due to being a customer since time began. Would like an I-phone, but don't want O2's sh1tty contracts.

Lol @ the mileage comments. It's done less than 12K p/year, hardly the fcuking moon and back. It's an 11 year old car that has done average (below average IMO) miles. Looks smart. Plans?

Cars are designed to do 150K plus these days, comfortably. Service history and an owner that isn't a complete tool are FAR more important than low mileage. I'd much rather buy a car with 80K which has every service and a folder full of history than a car with 40K which has normal history...

Ha ha - That actually sounds spot on, as it would mean we could also do all of the above, lol.

The Mrs and I are looking for a new TV for the bed room. We have about £200 to spend (less would be nice obviously), but looking for something decent. It doesn't have to be huge, was looking at 19 - 22". Doesn't matter if it's in store or on-line, but don't want any 2nds or B grades etc...

I want to connect my I-pod through the surround sound system, which has the standard Aux In ports. Is there anyway to connect it through a dock, pref with a remote and not through the head phone socket? If so, links would be great. Cheers.

As cheap as possible really, as long as it has a reasonable sized hard drive (20GB+) and a CD drive, she'll be happy. Hi mate - PM sent.

Does anyone know anywhere to get a cheap lap top, doesn't need to be anywhere near top of the range, just good enough to surf and run I-tunes, will need CD drive. The Mrs has a company lap top which is g@y with I-tunes it would seem. Any suggestions welcome.
