Firstly, I can't answer your question with regards to Callum's post. I wasn't even aware he posted in this thread.
Secondly, I'd disagree, Callington to Par should only take 45 minutes or so, but maybe I'm being pedantic. Going back to my scenario where a member would be travelling from...
No such thing as a stupid question mate.
Basically, it's quite hard for people to travel around Cornwall, it takes a while to cover a short distance. For example, for the Falmouth guys, it would take an hour to travel to the Par meet. Obviously, it'll take others longer to get to Par the...
Guys,
I'm looking at setting up a meet for the Cornwall boys and girls.
Location will be the Pandora Inn, Restronguet, nr. Falmouth, TR11 5ST.
The pub has a car park, so hopefully it won't be full on a midweek evening, but if it is, there is also a carpark nearby within walking distance.
I'd...
Iron X and Tardis is what I've always used before claying the car.

Just to add a little more info to my post above, the car will obviously be washed, clayed, polished by DA and then a coat of Prima Amigo.
Just looking for a nice wax/sealant to top it off.
Been looking at Britemax Vantage, Bouncer's 22 and Bilt Hamber Finis.
Never used a sealant before, any...
Guys,
I'll be detailing the Volvo when the weather gets a little warmer...
...recommend me a sealant/wax for this colour!
I'm a tight arse so only looking to spend £40ish max.
Longevity is a big bonus, but I'd like something that will bring out the flake in the sun.
The only wax I own...
D1CKY is selling a nearly new Valeo clutch kit here: http://www.cliosport.net/threads/oem-valeo-clutch-pressure-plate-done-less-than-50-miles-£80.771100/ and is asking £80 for it. Bit cheaper than ECP.
George is a great guy, you won't wanna get your brakes elsewhere after you use him! Next day...
Welcome to ClioSport, Mark!
New tyres are always a good place to start. I'd move down to a 15" wheel too, makes a big difference.
Engine oil wise, I run Fuchs Titan Race oil in mine, 5W-40 (used to be Silkolene).
I wouldn't bother with drilled discs tbh, can be prone to cracking. I'd go for...
Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5W-40 engine oil
Fuchs Titan Sintofluid 75W-80 gearbox oil
ATE Superblue brake fluid
Might look at changing the weight of the engine oil on the next oil change though.
My Ph1 172 is going to need a new clutch soon, so looking to replace it with a Valeo kit.
I know there are two Valeo clutch kits available, one for the Ph1 and one for the Ph2, however, I understand that a Ph2 clutch will fit the Ph1?
Here's the two clutch kits on ECP...
I've got a KTR Stealth with a non-baffled centre section, sometimes I feel as if I should be wearing ear defenders!
I've not noticed an increase of power, and if anyone tells you there is an increase in power it's more than likey due to the placebo effect.
I would say an aftermarket exhaust...
This is exactly why I ordered new ones.
It's better to have them and not need them.
I suspect my slider pin(s) to have seized up as one of my calipers is binding slightly.
Hey guys,
I'm planning on refurbishing my front brake calipers myself, I'm just wondering what parts are required?
Planning on getting a Bigg Red rebuild kit http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-Clio-Sport-2000-2005-FRONT-Brake-Caliper-Seal-Piston-Repair-Kit-BRKP87-/271651814388 which consists of...
Yeah you're right Gherk, top of the Moors, about an hour's drive from Plymouth, or 35 minutes from Exeter.
But hopefully we'll have interest from both Plymouth, Exeter and from beyond too.
Hey guys and girls,
I've recently been made Area Rep for the SW (South) - that's Plymouth area and Cornwall, so, a big hello to you all!
At the moment, I'm gauging interest in a possible meet at Moretonhampstead Motor Museum.
Here's a link to the museum's website and some reviews of the...
Was looking at a Shark remap, takes it up to 175BHP/400Nm.
Unsure about the EGR blanking though, seems to throw up ECU problems and sends the car into limp mode, although that could be mapped out. But then you run the risk of not passing emissions testing for MOT.
Think I'll stick to just...
Yeah, that's where I got the face lift bumper idea from.
The same guy done a detailed thread about it on the Volvo Owners Forum, and for £300 it's a great way to update the car.
The cabin is a really lovely place to be, especially coming from a stripped out, track ready Clio!
I've been looking for a nice comfy car for a short while, as the Clio is no longer practical. It's loud, it's noisey, it's uncomfortable.
So, I set about looking for a bit of a barge, something to waft around in, and to become the workhorse to enable me to retire the Ph1 as a track only car...
