All resolved now.
Opened a Paypal dispute and within the hour I had a refund. If only he was so prompt with his delivery/communication. F***ing satchel.
85.7% positive feedback.
I pressume he is using his mother and father's eBay account. Have found a Christine Robertson and a Neil Robertson who live at the same address in Littlehampton. If I sign up to 192.com then I can find out their full address.
Suppose I'll just have to submit the Paypal...
Aye, I've emailed him and messaged the eBay account threatening this earlier today. Paypal dispute and the po po for fraud.
The eBay profile has some negative feedback for taking forever to post things out, so I'm hoping it's that really.
Long story short, pretty sure I've been ripped off by Scott Robertson purchasing an Oreca Group N.
He's from Littlehampton, West Sussex. Not sure if that's SE or South Central TBH.
He relisted the Oreca that I was watching, so made him an offer which he accepted. He closed the listing after I...
Which specialist did you go to?
Take it back if you're not 100% happy with the job they carried out.
If they're a well known and trusted specialist then they will rectify any mistakes/problems they have caused.
Suspension and handling upgrades.
Puremotorsport top mounts/strut brace combo, refresh all the rubber bushes etc. Whiteline RARB, solid engine/gearbox mounts.
I wouldn't bother with engine mods, not much else you can do to it engine wise unless you want to spend a fortune on an ITB setup...
I bought mine second hand from a for sale thread on here. But you can buy them from Renaultsport IIRC. Use the search function on the forum, plenty of info about them on here. Think they are about £160 from this guy: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/member.php?70511-Renault-Wolverhampton
And...
All about personal taste really.
I, and many others have the Sabelt Renaultsport wheel, which is 330mm. So much better than the OE bus sized steering wheel!
Re: Whos been a naughty boy/girl?
This really. Make an example out of them like they tried to make an example out of you.
You're number plate, and car, will be very recognisable and I'd be surprised if it's not targeted in some way, as not everyone will see the apology on FB... if they even...
Your point was that people on CS are sheep and mod there cars in the same style, all conforming to one sheep style?
Isn't that what all this Euro/Dub stuff is anyways? It's all one style... slam it, put some wide wheels and stretched tyres on it.
LOL. There's more than just Turinis TBF. If you think Turinis are the only suitable wheels for a Clio then it's you being narrow sighted, sir.
Turinis are a popular choice, and for good reason too. They look nice, and they suit the car.
People also throw on 2118s, TD Pro Races, OZ F1s...
I do like a Silvia.
Not too keen on that wing though, it doesn't tie in with the rest of the car. A wing like that would suit a fully sticker'd, lairy drift machine.
There's an S15 on my base, same colour. Looks really nice in the flesh.
Welcome to cliosport.net! Good to see another South Wester. You should get yourself along to some meets in the SW once your Clio has been delivered.
Car looks good, I do like a Glacier White 197.
I'd look at the Sprint spoiler from Ktec. Looks really nice on 197s...
